It's that time of year again! Primrose School of La Vista's children will be spraying a Magical Potion that will mysteriously make pumpkins grow in the open area! At pickup, each child will be able to explore the Magical Pumpkin Patch with their parents and take home a pumpkin!

This week, Primrose School of La Vista had a special visit from the La Vista fire department! The firemen spoke to the children about fire safety and showed off their awesome fire suit! Afterward, each class got to go outside and take a look at the huge firetruck! The children had fun exploring all of its colors, textures and looking at all of the different equipment!

Parents, Please make note that Primrose School of La Vista will be closed on Friday, August 11th for a teacher in-service day. This day will be filled valuable training that our team members will receive to enhance the classroom experience for your children.
Our summer has gotten off to a great start here at Primrose School of La Vista! Our Explorers class went on three field trips this week! First, they enjoyed going on a hike and picnic at Mahoney State Park, then they followed that up with venturing through the Wildlife Safari Park! They ended their week's field trips at the Lincoln Children's Zoo! What an awesome way to kick off a summer full of adventures!

Primrose School of La Vista can't wait for our annual Spring Fling event Friday, April 28th!! Please remember that our school will be closing at 5:30pm so that everyone can join in the fun! Our guests are encouraged to get cozy and bring pillows and blankets from home, as well as letting the children wear their pajamas to our 'Family Movie Night' themed fundraiser! We are excited to see all of the families there and see how much we can raise for the Tri-City Food Pantry and the Primrose Children's Foundation! If anyone has any questions regarding Spring Fling 2017, please contact a member of the leadership team!
Primrose School of La Vista hosted a Spring Hat Parade on Friday, April 7th! The event was a huge success as parents gathered around to watch their children show off their creative hats that each of the classrooms designed. There's no better way to celebrate Spring!
Primrose School of La Vista had the best time celebrating Read Across America Day! Our Spirit week was fun filled and marked the ending of our Og's Bountiful Book Drive! Our School collected an amazing 149 books that are being donated to the La Vista library! Thanks to everyone who contributed!
During the small group math activity, our preschoolers learned about patterns! They used stickers to make their very own patterns and discussed what a pattern was, how their pattern repeats, and what colors they used!
This month, Primrose School of La Vista is celebrating literacy and giving back with Og's Bountiful Book Drive! This event is going on from now, until Read Across America Day on March 2nd! We would like to encourage all of you bring in new or gently used books and we will be donating them to the La Vista Library! We are excited to see how many books will be donated!
