Welcome to Primrose Schools!
Hello, my name is Heather Rieboldt, and I am the proud owner of Primrose School of Bear Creek. Born and raised in northern Michigan, I moved to Colorado in 2006 and I am proud to call the Lakewood community home with my husband and two children.
As working parents, my husband and I know how important it is to find quality child care that provides parents with the confidence of knowing their child is not only safe but also engaged in a meaningful, positive, and thriving environment. As I explored opening a school of my own, I knew that I wanted to become part of the Primrose family due to the level of care and education provided through the time-tested Primrose Schools Balanced Learning® curriculum that helps instill a love of learning and discovery in children.
Who children become is as important as what they know, and this is a belief that is at the core of our Balanced Learning® approach. Our exclusive early learning approach balances purposeful play with nurturing guidance from teachers to encourage curiosity, creativity, confidence and compassion. We deliver more than a curriculum; it’s a life-changing early learning experience for children and their families.
Each day I get to see the wonder of the world through our students’ eyes, and I know what we do as teachers and educators truly matters!I am very thankful that I get to serve my community and fulfill my passion of caring for children and staff every day at our school. I hope that you come to visit us!

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. Every Primrose staff member undergoes a thorough background check before joining our school. All staff are also CPR and first–aid certified, so you can feel confident your child is in safe, prepared hands every day.
What curriculum or educational philosophy do you follow?
Our school uses the proprietary Primrose Schools Balanced Learning® curriculum, which is research-informed and designed to nurture the whole child — intellectually, socially, emotionally and physically. We believe in balancing teacher-guided learning with purposeful play to build a strong foundation for the future.
How do you support school readiness and the transition to kindergarten?
All of our programs are designed in age-appropriate ways to prepare children for kindergarten and beyond.
