Our teachers and caregivers are trained, ready and excited to help spark lightbulb moments for your child. We invite you to visit and see our Balanced Learning approach in action
Welcome to the Primrose School of Atlanta Westside!
Meet Jennifer Bunting-Graden, George Elba, and Chris and Natalie Williams – the proud franchise owners of the Primrose School of Atlanta Westside. As parents of preschool children, Primrose’s belief that who children become is as important as what they know resonates with us. This philosophy is at the core of Primrose’s exclusive Balanced Learning approach, which balances purposeful play with nurturing guidance from teachers to encourage curiosity, creativity, confidence, and compassion.
We spent a lot of time evaluating childcare offerings when we were seeking care for our children, and it was clear that Primrose stands head and shoulders above all available options. Primrose delivers more than a curriculum. In addition to incorporating science, math, music, language, and art concepts throughout the day, Primrose focuses on character development and life skills – without forgetting the fun! Our time-tested, research-informed classroom offerings and equipment are complemented by our extraordinarily fun, age-appropriate playgrounds. Primrose is a life-changing early learning experience for children and their families!
Unfortunately for us, we were unable to get into the Primrose school in our area because it had an incredibly long waitlist. Now that we are opening our own school, we are, of course, first in line to enroll our children!
Our dynamic team has the perfect combination of skills to ensure we deliver the Primrose promise EVERY DAY. Jennifer holds a law degree from Harvard Law School and a business degree from the University of Toronto; George has a computer engineering degree from Texas A & M University; Natalie has a law degree from Columbia Law School and a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Journalism from Emory University; and Chris has a business degree from Emory University and is a Certified Public Accountant. Together, we have years of work experience solving mission critical problems for some of the largest companies in the world.
We are excited to meet you and your family, and we know you will agree with us that a Primrose education is unmatched!
We aren't just a daycare in Atlanta, we are a premier early education and child care experience for children and families. We are conveniently located, right down the street from Publix Super Market and Moores Mill Center on Marietta Boulevard Northwest.

Our Balanced Learning® approach weaves in character development and life skills into daily learning experiences because we believe who children become is as important as what they know.

Our new exclusive Harmony & Heart® program integrates our proprietary music and books in a variety of thoughtful ways each day. Through learning about music, while simultaneously being exposed to concepts in math, language, and character development, your child will grow as a musician, a student, and a person.
Teachers Appreciation Week occurs during the month of May! We recognize all of our SUPERSTAR teachers for the love, dedication, and passion they bring to their classrooms every day. We couldn’t do this without them!
Each Primrose school is held to high standards of safety and cleanliness while maintaining a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.
There’s no question that parents want their preschoolers to grasp the basics of colors, numbers and letters to foster a lifetime of learning.
This month, we recognize, Ms. Hamilton, our Assistant Pre-K teacher! Ms. Hamilton raises her hand when it counts, and did we mention that she is a talented teacher whose passion shines a bright light in the classroom?
It might seem odd to think about your preschooler exploring data analysis and algebra.
We celebrate diversity every day and provide our students with opportunities to experience different cultures throughout the year! To mark Black History Month, teachers read from our library of books regarding many African American figures during Circle Time and Og's Story Time. Additionally, on February 22nd, each classroom jammed to a special interactive learning center focused on a significant African American figure or work!
It's a fact: children learn better when they are engaged. That's why purposeful play and nurturing guidance from teachers are key components of Balanced Learning. See how this time-tested approach with a strong emphasis on life skills and character development can help your child develop and excel.
This month we recognize Ms. Mellion, our longest serving teacher! Ms. Mellion has been with us since before we opened the school, and she is now our Preschool Lead Teacher. She embodies our Primrose Atlanta Westside philosophy, and we are grateful to have her!
Hats off to all our teachers! The past weeks have been difficult, but they have taken it all in stride with grace and patience. Thank you—and we appreciate you more than you can imagine!
Since the week before Christmas was cut short for many classrooms, we postponed this service project to coincide with the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday. On January 20, each student made a greeting card that we donated to Send a Smile Today, a charity that sends uplifting greeting cards to cancer patients. Our students definitely brought smiles with their work!
Congratulations to Ms. Crawford, our Preschool Pathways Assistant Teacher. Ms. Crawford is a natural nurturer and knows just what to do when our little friends are having a tough day. We are glad you are part of our team and wish we could bottle your special zhush!
November was Caring and Giving Month at Primrose, and we requested donations of non-perishable food items from November 8-19. Our parents responded in a huge way! Our Pre-K students also created a grocery store with some of the items for math and literacy fun during the drive. Thanks everyone for your amazing efforts!

Eddie the Fire Extinguisher (a puppet) visited classrooms on October 6th to discuss fire prevention! Student engaged in multiple activities that taught fire safety, and we send home a safety preparedness checklist for home use!
On September 13th, we celebrated our nanas and papas and omas and opas and every wonderful nickname in between! We stocked our libraries with books celebrating grandparents, and we dedicated Og’s Story Time to reading and sharing stories about them. Our grandparents are really made of sugar and spice!
This month, we recognize Ms.Castillo, our Spanish teacher! We are excited that our ancillary Spanish program has resumed. Ms. Castillo has really blown us away with her planning and execution of the program! Te damos las gracias y te apreciamos (We thank and appreciate you).
