Schedule A TourAmy Livengood was born in West Virginia, and raised in Charlottesville, Virginia. She moved to Lynchburg, as an adult, where she raised her daughter, Zoe. She moved to Richmond in 2019 and now resides in Henrico County with her husband and son, Zeppelin.
Amy graduated from Lynchburg College with a bachelor’s degree in Special Education, and has been in the early childhood field for over twenty years. She joined the Primrose family in 2021 and now serves as our Center Director.
Kim Patterson graduated from James Madison University with a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education.
She joined the Primrose family in 2003 as a Kindergarten teacher, and transitioned to the role of Director in 2006. After serving as the school Director for over eight years, she decided to accept a new role as the Training Coordinator for the Primrose School of Twin Hickory and the Primrose School at Westerre Commons. In this new role, she is able to use her experience to educate the teaching staff at both schools.
In her spare time, she enjoys baking with her daughter and watching her son play golf. She also enjoys exercising, going to concerts, and spending time with friends.
Ms. Middleton was born in Lynchburg, VA, but has spent most of her life in Richmond, VA. She studied Criminal Justice at John Tyler Community College, but found that childcare was her true love. She is currently enrolled at J Sargeant Reynolds Community College, working towards a degree in Early Childhood Education.
She has been a part of the Primrose Family since 2003. She started off as an Explorer teacher, Summer Camp Director, and spent time in the Pre-K classroom. Currently, she is delighted to be a part of the Infant classroom team. She believes children are a true blessing and she loves watching them grow.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends. She loves to write, paint, and do anything outdoors, such as fishing, camping, and grilling the worlds best cheeseburger!
Ms. Tomlinson is a Richmond native. After graduating from Freeman High School she knew she had a passion for working with young children, and was able to turn that passion in to a career. She has had opportunities to work with children of all ages, but has found that toddlers have a special place in her heart.
During her free time, Ms. Tomlinson loves making art, roller skating, meditating, and hanging out with her family, friends, and her cat, Cabby!
Ms. Hill is originally from Petersburg, Virginia. She has a son and a daughter and eight grandchildren!
She joined our Primrose team in 2021 as our Lead Early Preschool 1 teacher working with our young two year olds. She has been in the early childhood field for over 30 years. She loves working with younger children and being a part of their education and development. Her favorite part of teaching is when her children great her with excitement each day.
In her spare time, she spends as much time as she can with her eight grandchildren!
Ms. Epstein was born and raised in Worcestershire, England!
After graduating high school, she started working as a nanny which brought her to America as an Au Pair. That is how she met her husband. They have been married for 20 years and have two sons. As a family, they have been very fortunate to live in Italy, England, and Germany. They are now back in Virginia and ready to settle down together. She joined the Primrose family in October of 2017 and have been working with the Pre-Kindergarten students ever since.
In her spare time, she enjoys cooking and baking. She has been told that her chocolate chip cookies rank among the best in Richmond!
Ms. Taylor grew up in Washington D.C. She moved to Richmond in 2007, and earned her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University.
Before joining the Primrose family, Ms. Taylor worked as a counselor and site leader for a school aged program. She has held her current position as Lead Pre-K teacher since starting at Primrose in April of 2017. She enjoys helping her Pre-K students develop their social skills and independence and loves to see them gain confidence throughout the school year.
In her spare time, she enjoys roller skating in a competitive league.
Ms. Moody was born in Richmond, VA, but has lived in several states throughout her adventurous life including, Florida, Colorado, and Georgia. She earned a B.A. in Psychology and a minor in Religious Studies from Randolph-Macon College in 1996 and then began a a long career in education. She has been able to make an inpact on countless children's lives in the over twenty years she has been teaching. Since joining the Primrose family she has worked as the Lead Teacher in our Pre-K 2 classroom.
In her spare time she enjoys watching movies, reading great books, and spending quality time with her family, friends, and pets.

Angela and Steve Richter and Heather and Bobby Moore are the owners of the Primrose School of Twin Hickory and the Primrose School at Westerre Commons. Friends since their college days, the two couples take a hands-on approach to managing the schools. Owning the Primrose Schools gave both couples the perfect opportunity to focus their professional efforts on providing a meaningful service to their local communities while making a very positive impact on the lives of their employees.
Angela and Steve Richter moved to Richmond after graduating from Virginia Tech, and now live in Glen Allen with their 2 children. Angela earned a BS degree in Human Nutrition and Foods from Virginia Tech. She manages the foodservice program, helping Primrose students build healthy eating habits. Angela is also responsible for marketing and enrollment at both locations. Steve earned a BS degree in Accounting from Virginia Tech and an MBA from Duke University. After a career in accounting and finance, Steve now serves as our business and finance manager, working behind the scenes to ensure things run smoothly.
Heather and Bobby Moore live in Hanover County with their 3 children. Heather earned a BS degree in Early Childhood Education from Virginia Tech and a MEd degree in Reading from the University of Virginia. She taught in the public school system for 13 years. Heather is responsible for staff training, licensure and accreditation, and curriculum implementation. Bobby grew up in Powhatan and attended James Madison University. After a career working in the agricultural benchmarking industry, Bobby now oversees the facilities management and information technology programs at both Primrose schools.
