We switched to Primrose East Allen from another child care environment. Main reason we had to switch was because they no longer offered an Infant program and we had to make the switch. The other reason we looked elsewhere was because, even though they loved their kids, there were not a lot of fun activities going on. (The kids were always quiet and kept to themselves. The summer fun programs kept getting canceled. Teacher tenure wasn't that great either.) When we were doing the research on a new school, we evaluated Primrose East Allen and 3 other places. We looked at curriculum, teacher tenure, management, and the activities the kids got to participate in among other things. When we walked into Primrose East Allen, we simply felt at home. They were so welcoming and greeted us warmly and the Director knew all the kiddos' names as she was walking us around the school. We truly love Primrose East Allen, they are part of our family. The teachers are outstanding and truly care about the kids. You can actually talk to the teachers at pickup time, or if they're not there, you can schedule time with them anytime. In the infant class, it's wonderful because they always make a point to tell you specific funny/cute/sweet things your baby did that day, and what their temperament was, and if they had a good day or not. It's a night and day difference in where my Preschooler used to be. She's a different kid now... partly because she's growing up, but mostly because of her teachers and her environment: she has encouragement and a strong sense of self confidence and is learning so much. My infant is actually making artwork and singing songs and learning so many things as well. Our favorite things about Primrose East Allen are the teachers, the management, the nutritious home cooked meals they provide, and all the fun activities they do. I can't say enough great things about them. Go visit - it'll make your decision very easy.
