    I’m Mrs. Edmondson, and I wanted to tell you a little about myself.

    I have been at Primrose for the last five years working in a multitude of classrooms and even was the chef while I was Sinclair Community College.

    I have been in the Pre-Kindergarten room since January 2017 and have loved spending time with the children. I am most looking forward to getting to know the students in my classroom and helping them learn and grow.

    In my free time I enjoy working out, crafting, baking and spending time with my husband Tyler, my son Trent and my dog Piper.

    Hi, my name is Taylor Greear. I have taught for a total of 4 years and I still love it just as much now as I did when I first started!

    I have many hobbies that keep me busy in my free time. I enjoy camping, cooking, and boating.

    I am looking forward to getting to know all of the Primrose children, families, and staff. I look forward to teaching my students something new every day!

    Hi, my name is Payton Chaffin. I have always loved children and helping them in every way I can. I am currently taking classes at Sinclair Community College and working toward my bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education.

    When I am not at Primrose, I love shopping, dogs, and sweets!

    I am looking forward to getting to know each child and learning from them. I am most excited to find out what they enjoy learning in the classroom.

    I’m Chef Virginia. I wanted to tell you a little about me.

    I am a graduate of the Culinary Arts Program at Sinclair Community College. I will soon have my Bachelor’s Degree at the University of Alabama in Human Environmental Science. I am also a certified student culinarian as well as a licensed food safety manager. Some previous experiences I have had are working at hotels, restaurants, catering, grocery stores, in hospitals and other healthcare facilities. I have a wonderful 6-year-old daughter, who often loves helping me in the kitchen.

    While I’m not at Primrose you can find me cooking, shopping, volunteering and making crafts with my daughter! I also teach cooking classes and provide demonstrations at various events and fundraisers.

    What I’m looking forward to most here at Primrose is preparing tasty and nutritious meals and snacks for all of our students and getting them excited to try new foods.

    My name is Amanda Singleton. I grew up in Kettering, Ohio and graduated from Centerville High School in 2003. In high school I enjoyed my classes in American Sign Language so much that I decided to study Manual Communication at Sinclair Community College.

    I have been working in the childcare field since 2006 focusing mostly on infants and toddlers. Since becoming a teacher I have always tried to get all of the children I work with to use Sign Language. To me, the earlier a child is able to communicate their needs the better they communicate with others throughout their life.

    I look forward to helping your child grow and learn.

    Hi, I am Ms. Katie and I wanted to tell you about me.

    I graduated from Clark State with a degree in accounting, but have years of experience in my church. I have taught Sunday school for three years with kids aged 18 months to fifth grade and lead a MOPs (Mothers of Preschoolers) group.

    When not at Primrose, I enjoy hanging with my kids, crafting, taking trips and going to Kings Island.

    I am looking forward to getting to know the students and watching them grow into awesome human beings.

    My name is Kasey Adkins, I graduated from Fairborn High School in 2006. I received my general education from Sinclair Community College, finished the LPN program RETS and I'm currently a Junior at Franklin University working on my Bachelor's degree in Human Resources.

    I enjoy bowling on a legue in my free time.

    I look forward to being with all of the children and teaching them new things. I love watching how quickly they learn new things.

    Hi, I am Ms. Makayla. I wanted to tell you a little about me.

    I am a former Primrose student with two younger brothers ( 7 and 13) that enjoy spending time with. I graduated from Waynesville High School in May of 2021.

    When I am not at Primrose, I enjoy shopping and being outdoors. I also raise and show goats.

    I am looking forward to getting to know the students and families during my time here.

    Hi my name is Natalie Lockhart. I wanted to tell you a little bit about myself. I have been teaching for over 11 years, mainly with younger and older infants. I have my CDA specializing in Infants and Toddlers.

    While I am not at Primrose I enjoy spending time with my family and relaxing outside.

    I graduated from Centerville High School in 2021 and am currently studying Education at Sinclair. I have been babysitting since I was 10 and volunteer with birth to five year old children in my church nursery.

    When I am not at Primrose and school, I enjoy tumbling, swimming and taking care of my two guinea pigs, Willow and Hazel.

    What I am most looking forward to at Primrose building positive relationships with the children and families in my care.

    I graduated from Valley View High School in 2021. I also attended MVCTC for 2 years for Early Childhood Education where I earned my CDA in preschool. Most of my childcare experience is in Preschool and Infant age. I do love working with all ages to help them learn and grow.

    While I am not at Primrose i love to spend time with my friends and family. I also enjoy nature, hiking, and going to flowershops. 

    I look forwared to engaging with children while helping them to learn and be creative. I am excited to build bonds with the Primrose students and families.

    I have experience babysitting children as a teenager and spent time working in the Preschool classrooms at the Primrose School of Centerville in 2017. I have taken medical courses through Sinclair Community College.

    When I am not at Primrose, I enjoy shopping, watching Grey's Anatomy and spending time with my family and friends.

    I am looking forward to getting to know both my students and their families. I am excited to help my class learn new things and grow together.

    I have worked with children from Infancy through 7th grade, in various settings (daycare, tutoring, etc) I am an education major in AYA English and have taken college courses at both Clark State College and Urbana University.

    When I am not at school or Primrose, I enjoy reading running and painting.

    I am looking forward to working with every child individually and getting to watch them grow and learn new things each day.

    Hello, my name is Aida Bidar. I have been at Primrose School on Yankee for the past 3 years and I love it! I attended high school in Iran and continued my schooling in cosmetology. I previously owned a beauty shop in Iran.

    When I am not at Primrose, I enjoy cooking, walking our family dog, named Tuna.

    I am looking forward to having fun and sharing laughs with the children while we play, dance, draw, and sing!

    Hi my name is Mrs. Marilee Hensley! I was born and raised in Tennessee and moved to Ohio in 2014 to start my career in education. I graduated from Cedarville University with my degree in Early Childhood Education and have been teaching ever since. I am so excited to be a part of Primrose and watch my students learn and grow.

    In my spare time I love spending time with my daughter and husband and also love my cats!

    Hello me name is Ms. Baharak Askari and I am the Preschool Pathways assistant teacher! I am originally from Iran but came to the United States in 2016 to be with my family, Mrs. Aida is my mom who works in Early Preschool. I have my bachelors degree in management but have always had a love for teaching. I have been with Primrose since January of 2018 and have loved helping and teaching the students.

    In my spare time I love to travel and spend time with my family.

    Hi, my name is Mariah Yeary. I wanted to tell you a little bit about myself. I studied at Miami University Regionals for my bachelors in Early Childhood Education. I received my associates degree in ECE. I have been working with Primrose Schools for a couple years. I started working in the Infant classroom, and have now transitioned to teaching Preschool.

    While I am not at Primrose, I enjoy hiking, painting, swimming, and spending time with my daughter.

    I am looking forward to meeting new students and helping them learn and grow each and every day.

    Hi my name is Patricia Palmer. I am originally from Texas. I moved to Ohio a few years ago to live closer with my family. I am a mom of 3 wonderful children and also have a grandchild.

    Children are my passion! One day, my goal would be to open a daycare specifically for moms with handicap children. I love children and

    Hi my name is Princess Dela Pena. I originally grew up in the Philippines, my dad was in the military so I got the amazing experience to travel many places! In 2011 we moved to the Dayton area and we have been here since. I have been babysitting since I was 12 years old which made my love for kids and education grow! I previously worked at another Primrose location where I was a toddler lead for a year but I am so excited to work with the Preschool age!

    In my free time I love reading, baking, arts & crafts and fitness.

    I am so excited to bond with the kids and also watch them grow into amazing people!

    Hi my name is Peyton Phibbs. I am a graduate of Bishop Fenwick High School and attended the University of Cincinnati and Cincinnati State for education. I have always known at a young age I wanted to work with kids and be able to make a positive impact on their lives and help them succeed their goals! I have spent the last couple year in the Young Toddler classroom, but am looking forward to getting to know the Preschool curriculum and our new students. 

    In my spare time I love reading books, shopping and spending time with my friends.

    I graduated from Fairmont High School in their Early Childhood Education program. Through this program, I had the opportunity to earn college credit by learning about child development, doing activities, lesson plans and teaching them in a school setting. I also take college courses through Sinclair and am in my second semester of college, while still completing high school.

    While not at school or Primrose, I enjoy running, reading and spending time with my family and friends.

    I am excited to apply what I am learning in my ECE program to the classrooms at Primrose and getting to know the students in my care.

    Hi, my name is Ms. Mollie Northern. I graduated from Waynesville High School where I was a part of Supportive Peers for two years. During that program I helped anyone from Preschool through their senior year. I really enjoyed working with kids, so I decided to go to Wright State after High School. I started working towards my degree in Early Childhood Education, which lead me to Primrose.

    While I am not at Primrose, I love doing makeup and nails. I also love going out with my friends.

I came to Primrose because of my love for children. I love being a part of their daily growth and experiences.

    Hello, my name is Grace Powers! I graduated from Miamisburg High School in 2020 and am currently attending Sinclair Community College where I am studying education. For the past 3 years, I have taught Sunday School at my church, which is something I really love to do!

    I am looking forward to expanding my academic knowledge in education and getting the opportubity to teach each child to truly love their self!

    I have loved working with children since a young age myself. I graduated from Carlisle High School and my love for working with kids has grown over the years. I have experience nannying, in-home care, being a swim instructor and helping with children's church.

    While not at work, I enjoy going on trips, camping, going shopping and hanging out with my family and friends.

    I have a Bachelors in Medical Technology, Nursing degree and my Masters in Epidemiology. My expereince working with children was in the Pediatric wing during my rotations.  I am passionate about teaching and excited for this next opportunity with Primrose Schools.

    I am a former Primrose student who is currently a Sophomore at Springboro High School. I have spent time volunteering at different youth camps.

    When I am not at school or work, I enjoy spending time with my family, playing soccer and going shopping.

    I am looking forward to developing relationships with the staff and students at Primrose and watching/helping the children learn and grow.

    I am eager to spend time with the children at Primrose and looking forward to helping them learn new things each day.
