Schedule A TourMichael and Lou Ann McLaughlin are seasoned Primrose School owners with degrees in Education, Business and Law from Baylor University. Lou Ann's degree includes a specialization in early childhood education, and she has taught Kindergarten and all elementary school grades in both public and private schools in Texas. Lou Ann holds a Masters Degree in Educational Administration from the University of Houston. She is a Texas certified preschool director and trainer. Lou Ann has served on numerous SACS/CITA accreditation committees and on the Primrose Advisory Council. She is currently serving on the Texas AdvancEd Council representing early childhood interests. Mr. and Mrs. McLaughlin are the proud recipients of the prestigious Primrose Schools President's Award for outstanding achievement. They are active participants in the Houston Children's Fund benefitting Houston's most needy children. Michael and Lou Ann are the proud grandparents of five adorable grandchildren; two of them are Primrose students. Michael and Lou Ann have been serving the Katy and West Houston community for over 20 years now, beginning in 1999 when they opened up their very first school, Primrose School of Cinco Ranch. They have since added an additional 6 schools to the Katy and West Houston area, and have also built 2 more schools in Midland, Texas. They have thoroughly enjoyed being a part of the Primrose family, and they look forward to the future with Primrose!
