Our Primrose Friend Billy the Duck!
The Rich Family has been a resident of Katy for 13 years. Darrell, Lisa, Haley and their 12-year old Labrador Retriever Max have lived in Cinco Ranch Northwest for 4 years. Haley is a native Katy resident. Darrell & Lisa grew up in Alief and attended school in the Alief Independent School District. They were married in Kauai, Hawaii in 2010. The family owns and operates Rich Auto Services, an auto repair business, located in West Houston. Darrell has been in the Automotive field for over 20 years. Lisa has worked in the IT department of Shell Oil for 12 years and also is a part-time independent consultant for Scentsy. Together they enjoy movies, cars and traveling. Their favorite family movie is Despicable Me, especially #3. Darrell is an avid car enthusiast and in his spare time works on restoring his old vehicles, 1977 Corvette Stingray and a 1979 Jeep CJ-7. Haley loves to ride the Jeep on sunny warm days. When they travel, they enjoy spending time on the beaches in Kauai, Hawaii, having a magical time at Disneyland in California and skiing and sledding in Colorado.

Congratulations to Lauren Malfitano, the Apple of Our Eye for January. Lauren always has a smile on her face and is ready to take on the day with her toddlers. She began her teaching career with Primrose School of Woodcreek Reserve about a year ago. Although Lauren was new to early childhood field, she has grown in her knowledge of child development, curriculum implementation and classroom management. Lauren and her team enjoy working together to help every child be successful and happy every day.
