As the weather begins to cool off, many of us crave heartier dishes and more comforting foods. It’s a great time of year to dust off our slow cookers and put them to good use. I use my slow cooker at least once a week to get healthy meals on the table in a (slow-paced) hurry. I just add all of the ingredients before leaving for work (I may prep ingredients the night before if time will be tight in the morning), and then dinner is done when we walk in the door at the end of the day. You can’t beat that!
Fall is the season that helps your little one’s imagination run wild! Encourage imaginative development for children by playing dress-up and joining fall festivities like trick-or-treating. Pick a fun, comfortable costume for your preschooler or toddler with these tips:
Our new exclusive Harmony & Heart™ program integrates our proprietary music and books in a variety of thoughtful ways each day. Through learning about music, while simultaneously being exposed to concepts in math, language, and character development, your child will grow as a musician, a student, and a person.
Through September and October, Primrose Schools® will be sharing information and resources from national partner Save the Children® and its Get Ready. Reading the pictures of a book is a great way to build confidence in emerging readers. Your child can still tell a story with the pictures in the book even if she can’t pull meaning from words on the page yet.
At Primrose®, we nurture curiosity, creativity, confidence and compassion and pay close attention to all aspects of your child’s development.
There is no one-size-fits-all approach to early learning, and all of the different options for your little one may seem overwhelming. Early education and care providers must create a learning approach that sparks a sense of curiosity while supporting children as they grow, but what sets different methods apart?
There’s no question that parents want their preschoolers to grasp the basics of colors, numbers and letters to foster a lifetime of learning.
It might seem odd to think about your preschooler exploring data analysis and algebra.
It's a fact: children learn better when they are engaged. That's why purposeful play and nurturing guidance from teachers are key components of Balanced Learning. See how this time-tested approach with a strong emphasis on life skills and character development can help your child develop and excel.
