Welcome to the Primrose School of Wexford!
We are Liz & Rob Meeder, the proud owners and operators of the Primrose School of Wexford!
We have two amazing children, Ashley and Alex, students at Seneca Valley. Our Primrose journey began when our son was young, and at the time was having issues at his childcare center. We searched for another high-quality childcare option in the northern Pittsburgh area and were unable to find anything that fit exactly what we were looking for. That is when we realized parents in our area need more options for high-quality, safe, and enriching childcare.
Full-time childcare for our children made such an enormous impact on our lives, and enabled Rob and I to both continue working. We also saw the significant benefits of early education in our kids as they started school. As I was searching for a career change of my own, I decided to bring a new childcare option to the area and began researched numerous options. When I came across Primrose Schools, I fell in love with the culture, the research informed curriculum and dedication to nurturing the entire child.
Prior to opening our Primrose School, I was a CPA and Rob currently works in the medical device industry. We met at and attended Pennsylvania State University, and together enjoy playing tennis and riding bikes with our children.
We are so excited to bring the second Primrose School to the Pittsburgh area! Who children become is as important as what they know is a belief that is at the core of our Balanced Learning® approach. Our exclusive early learning approach balances purposeful play with nurturing guidance from teachers to encourage curiosity, creativity, confidence and compassion. We deliver more than a curriculum; it is a life-changing early learning experience for children and their families.
We are excited to meet you and your family!
