Schedule A TourPrimrose of West Woods is owned by Mike and Sue Burns. They have lived in the Arvada area for almost thirty years, and raised three girls of their own. In his prior life, Mike worked in human resources and then decided that being a part of so many little ones lives was a better deal! Sue is a retired pharmacist, who loves coming to visit the school whenever she can. They are so grateful that their seven grandchildren are growing up in the Primrose West Woods family!
Our Balanced Learning approach to child care makes us different than an ordinary Arvada daycare. Right down the road from Westwoods Shopping Center and West Woods Elementary School, we are conveniently located on W 64th Avenue.

We’re ready for summer. Are you? Join us for a season of Active Minds, Healthy Bodies, and Happy Hearts® as we learn and explore through STEAM, sports and fun in the sun!
Big emotions such as anger or fear can be difficult for a child to manage. Read about ways you can help them work through it with ease.
Teachers at Primrose schools get to see the fruits of their labor every day as the children they teach improve their skills and confidence — from a baby learning to sit up to a preschooler forging their first friendship and so much more.
To better meet the individual needs of every child, we’re proud to implement Ages & Stages Questionnaires® (ASQ®-3 and ASQ®:SE-2) in Primrose schools across the country.
Each Primrose school is held to high standards of safety and cleanliness while maintaining a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.
There’s no question that parents want their preschoolers to grasp the basics of colors, numbers and letters to foster a lifetime of learning.
It might seem odd to think about your preschooler exploring data analysis and algebra.
It's a fact: children learn better when they are engaged. That's why purposeful play and nurturing guidance from teachers are key components of Balanced Learning. See how this time-tested approach with a strong emphasis on life skills and character development can help your child develop and excel.
