"Megybyte" is a computer-wiz pig who likes to learn about our great big world via the computer. Whenever Megy is curious or wants to explore she just goes to the computer and finds her answers! She's very curious and loves to help other learn, too. Megy's birthday is on April 15th.
Mrs. Lina Lattouff is our Apple of the Eye for the month of April. She became a part of our family in the month of October 2014. She is Co-lead in one of our Preschool Venture programs. Mrs. Lina has degree in elementary education from her country. Her husband works for Houston Methodist Hospital in the medical field. She has two beautiful daughters and one handsome son. We can see that Mrs. Lina wants all children to be the best they can be. We are ever so grateful to have her as apart of our team. “When little people are overwhelmed by big emotions, its our job to share our calm, not join their chaos.” Ir Knost That is how we see Mrs. Lina.
The shift from preschool to kindergarten is a big milestone for any child. This huge step will be full of excitement, but it is also a time of new beginnings and routines. In the spirit of National Kindergarten Day, we asked three parents to share their secrets to success while their children were in kindergarten:
We are Toby, Kristie, Juliana, and Genevieve the Zeringue family. We are from Thibodaux Louisiana where Toby and Kristie met and got married in 2008. We were found of our small home town but moved a few hours away to Lafayette, Louisiana where Juliana was born in 2012. After 4 short years there, we opted for the opportunity to move to Katy, Texas, where our family has grown once more with the birth of Genevieve in 2016. Primrose was our first choice in schools as it stood out amongst others in regards to curriculum, level of care, and a since of family. From the first moments we stepped foot in the front door, we have felt that Primrose was fulfilling our needs for our children. Juliana is fond of all of her teachers, past and present. It is the little things that make Primrose unique such as an e-mail from the teacher just to check in and pictures with her teacher from two year ago who just happened to pop in the room that day. We are abundantly blessed with the opportunity for our children to grow and develop in such a nurturing environment. Juliana enjoys dressing up like a princess, coloring, reading, and playing with her Barbie dolls. Juliana would like to be a nurse when she grows up. Genevieve loves Elmo, books, and eating. Genevieve looks up to her big sister and enjoys playing outside.

My daughter was a slow-to-warm-up baby and a well-behaved toddler. She never hit or pushed, but instead used her words — like the time she famously told me at age three, “Mommy, I don’t like the choices you’re choicing me.”
