Science comes to life in our school! During Project Time, Preschool teacher Ms. Reeves led the children in an interactive science lesson with the help of Primrose Friend Libby the Lamb. She invited students to explore different substances, like syrup, and use their senses to describe them with related vocabulary words. We’re excited to share that Ms. Reeves’s efforts to bring learning to life in the classroom led us to win a national award from Primrose Schools!
There are nearly 400 Primrose schools across the country, and we all share the same values of serving with passion, living with integrity, treating others with respect, and giving without expectation. Through the annual Wow Moments Awards program, Primrose celebrates Franchise Owners, teachers, students and staff for exhibiting these values in exceptional ways.
This creative implementation of the Primrose Balanced Learning® approach was selected as the winner of the “Active Minds” category of this year’s award! Our prize is a $1,000 donation to a charity of our choice, and we’re thrilled to share it with The Samaritan Inn, a program that assists families experiencing homelessness.
At Primrose School of West Allen, we aim to provide the best early learning experience possible to children and families every day. Our teachers, staff and School Leadership Team are truly honored by this recognition. This award will serve as a daily reminder for us to continue striving for excellence and delivering outstanding service, and we look forward to many more Wow Moments to come!
