Health & Safety Practices in Place

  • Kiss and go drop off at the front lobby - no outside visitors allowed
  • Contact less check in in lobby
  • Screening and temperature checks on arrival and throughout the day
  • Requiring any children or staff with respiratory illness symptoms or fever to return home and stay home until fever free for at least 48 hours
  • Frequent disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch toys and surfaces
  • Electrostatic sanitizing fogger used regualry
  • Frequent hand washing by children and staff, which is embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols
  • Training teachers on common signs of illness in children, and placing signage in every classroom to keep signs of illness top of mind
  • Individual school supplies for each child
  • Daily laundering in hot water of crib sheets for infants and cot sheets and blankets for older children. Sheets and blankets are provided by Primrose School of Warren.
  • Lower teacher-student classroom ratios
  • Smaller group / class sizes - maximum 10 children PER CLASSROOM
  • No combining or mixing of different age groups
  • Daily ongoing communication through our ProCare Connect parent app
  • Continuous health & safety training for our staff, including first aid and CPR certification
  • All staff required to wear masks
  • Ongoing compliance with CDC guidelines and State and Local orders
  • Maintaining an up-to-date and customized Safe School Plan posted in all classrooms for easy teacher access
