    School Director

    My name is Michelle Clarke and I am the School Director here at Primrose School of Wade Green. I love spending time with my husband(Ryan), two sons (Bryson and Brayden), and my daughter (Maci). Both of my boys love to play baseball and my husband helps coach both of their baseball teams so I am kept very busy at the ball field when I’m not working. Right now, my daughter just enjoys being a little sister to two fun brothers.

    I have been working with children since I was 17 years old. I’ve worked in many different capacities from an assistant teacher when I was younger all the way up to being a school director for over nine years. I love my position here at Primrose School of Wade Green. I enjoy watching our children grow, learn new things, and mature a little bit each day. The excitement on their faces makes my job as the School Director feel so worthwhile!

    Hola! My name is Lesbia Irizarry and I am the Assistant Director here at Primrose School of Wade Green. I enjoy traveling to new places, especially the beach. I love visiting my family that lives in Puerto Rico. I lived in Puerto Rico for 24 years, and I graduated from the University of Puerto Rico. I moved to the United States in 2000, and have lived in Cobb County since then. I have been married to my high school sweetheart, Jaime, since 1992 and we have three beautiful children together. Gabby came to Primrose School of Wade Green as an explorer, and she is now a graduate of the University of Georgia. Roberto started here in the Preschool Pathways classroom and is also a graduate of the University of Georgia. Adriana started here in the Infant Room, she attends Kennesaw State University and will be transferred to the University of Georgia where she will be graduating from.

    I started working here at Primrose School of Wade Green in 2002. I worked with the Wonder Program for my first five years. Then I became the Private Pre-K I Assistant Teacher and worked in that class for 14 years. During my time spent in the classrooms, I taught Spanish as I am full bilingual. I am so thrilled about my position as being the Assistant Director here. I enjoy the relationships that I have built with each family throughout the years. It has been a reward to teach all 400 students during my time at Primrose.

    Hi! My name is Ms. Dionne Harris and I am the Curriculum Director here at Primrose School of Wade Green. I have been working at Primrose Wade Green since Janurary 2007.  I grew up in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where I graduated from Overbrook High School in 2003. I have received my Child Development Associates and obtained my bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Sociology. I recently graduated with my Masters in Forensic Psychology with my specialization in victimology.  I am currently attending Walden University finishing my PHD in Psychology.

    I spend most of my free time studying, listening to music and writing poetry. I have a very large family consisting of nine brothers, four sisters, and twenty-two nieces and nephews.

    I love working at Primrose School of Wade Green because of the familial atmosphere. There is always someone you can turn to when you have a need. I love children and take pride in making sure that all our students are loved and nurtured.We have built a culture that makes me excited about coming to work each day.

    Hi! My name is Mrs. Bertha and I am the chef here at Primrose School of Wade Green. Food Service is my passion, I have been cooking for over 37 years. I have cooked for hospitals, high schools, detention centers, treatment centers, and daycares. My husband and I have one daughter and four grandkids. My hobby other than cooking is bowling. I also own my own catering business called Bert's Catering Service LLC.

    My name is Zilha (Zil) Dzonlic and I am the Infant Room lead teacher here at Primrose School of Wade Green. I have been married to my husband for 27 years and we have two children Azra(21)and Amar(17).

    I have a degree in Agriculture and horticulture from a community college in my hometown of Prijedor in Bosnia. I am currently in the process of receiving my Infant and Toddler Child Development Associate's.

    I began working at Primrose School of Wade Green in 2004 when my daughter was only nineteen months old. Four years later I had my son who began in the infant room and still attends our explorer program.

    I truly love working with babies; it’s my favorite age group to care for! Just by watching and working energetically with them I have witnessed how much they really learn and understand.

    When not at Primrose, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading books. And cooking!

    Hi I'm Mrs. Elena Ivanova and I am an Infant Assistant Teacher. I have been teaching here since January 2019, but  I was Introduced to Primrose School of Wade Green in 2012, when  my youngest daughter attended Pre-K . I am originally from Bulgaria and I have two daughters with my husband, Vladimir. I attended school in Bulgaria and majored in Economics. However, I love my babies here at Primrose.

    The children are such sweethearts and I enjoy being around them daily. The people around me when I work are always so supportive and positive which puts a smile on my face every day. Then environment here is amazing!

     Hi! My name is Ms. Chole, I graduated from Harrison High School in 2019 ansd is currently in my Junior year of college. I am working on  my  Bachelors degree in Psychology. I was a dancer for 15 years in the advanced company at Bravo Dance. My family consists of my mom(Carrie) and dad(Gary) and older brother (Conor). I also have a cat named Babybell.

     I have been working with children since 2015. I started as a teacher's assistant for ages 3-8 at the dance studio,and assisted in classes at Vaughn Elementary for two years.

    Hi! My name is Ms. Jessica and I am a Infant assistant teacher. I was born in Marietta, Georgia and I lived in Mexico for 9 years. I came back to the States to finish high school. My parents and two siblings still live in Mexico. I graduated from Marietta High School, and I now attend Kennesaw State University majoring in Psychology. I have a two-year-old son named Mathias, he is in the Preschool Pathways classroom. I previously worked at Kids R' Kids in the Pre-K classroom. I have been working here at Primrose School of Wade Green for a year.

     Hi! My name is Ms.Elysia.  I am new to Primrose . I grew up in many different places before settling in Georgia due to my dad being in the military. I currently live in Kennesaw, GA with my cat, Alfie.  I am the youngest of my siblings, Manny and Jasmine and have two nephews and one niece.

    I graduated from Johns Creek high school in Johns Creek, Ga. After graduation, I started my Bachelor's degree at the University of Tennessee- Knoxville before transferring to Kennesaw State University.  I am excited to be a senior, in December I will graduate with my Bachelor's in Psychology.

    I started my career in Early Childhood Education in 2017, as an assistant infant teacher, but I have also worked with preschool aged children. When it comes to children, my favorite thing is their ability to put a smile on my face no matter the circumstance.

    Hi! My name is Ms.Courtney I graduated from Langston Hughes high school in 2015, after which I attended Darton State College. Education has always been a top priority for Me. I am engaged to James and together we have a son Kai(4), who currently is in our Private Pre- Kindergarten classroom! I absolutely love children and plan to have more children in the future.

    Children are my passion,and I get excited watching children learn and grow. I have worked with many ages since starting my career in the Early Childhood education field. When I was in Eighth Grade I mentored for elementary/middle schools for their Special Olympics. I continued to peer mentor throughout high school helping faculty with new students and foreign exchange students.

    Hi! I am Ms. Kylee and I am the afternoon teacher for Young Toddlers. I graduated from Alcovy High School in 2021. I cheered at Rockstart Cheer ATL South. I also cheered on the sides of our Middle School and High School teams. I am a Sophomore at Kennesaw State University majoring in Elementary Education. My parents, grandparents, brother, and my dog Skylar mean the world to me! I have been a babysitter for the past two years.

    Hi! I am Mrs. Sam and I am a teacher in the Young Toddler room. I live in Kennesaw, Georgia with my husband and kids. I have a daughter that is 13 years old, and a son that is nine years old. I enjoy spending time with them and going on hikes. I love working with kids. Along with having an Associate Bachelor's Degree, I have been in childcare since 2015.

    Hi! My name is Ms. Megan, I have a brother, and a stepbrother. I am the mother of  Angelo (4), who is currently in our Private Pre-Kindergarten 3

    I graduated from Deerfield Beach High school located in Broward County, Florida. Following High School I attended Broward college for 2 years where I studied to become a physical therapist. Starting my childcare experience, occasionally I helped babysit my close friend's siblings.

    In my free time, I love to travel any distance to spend time with my family. When I am not traveling the distance to Florida, I spend time on Facetime and phone calls with them. Other than that, I like going to the park and sporting events with the family I have here in Georgia. During my alone time, I enjoy painting, drawing, and reading.

    I am a native of Georgia, born and raised. I graduated from Woodstock High School and hopefully will be starting school for my CNA. I am an animal lover of all kinds, as well as children. I love to paint and spend time with family and close friends. I am a mother of two beautiful children, and a bonus mom to three beautiful children. My family is everything to me. I have been working with kids for 12 years. I have experience with Infants through Preschool. Best job ever!

    Hi! My name is Ms.Taylor. I was born and raised in Atlanta, GA. I graduated from South Cobb High School in 2019. I am currently attending Kennesaw State University to get my Bachelors Degree in Business Management. Growing up, it was just my loving mother and I. My mother always taught me the importance of family and assuring they are well taking care of.

    I began working at Primrose School of Wade Green in February 2021. Being an only child, it makes me appreciate my  job more than most people. When I am  not working or doing school work I enjoy reading, painting, and spending time with my mom.

     Hi! My name is Mariana Beltza and I'm from Uruguay. I have two kids Emilia (nineteen years old) and Benjamin (seven years old).I studied journalism at ORT University in Montevideo, Uruguay. I am the teacher in Early Preschool One. One of my favorite forms of entertainment is to read fairy tales. My husband always says that I should record children’s audiobooks. During the summertime, my family and I like to go to the lake to paddle board. I moved to Acworth, Georgia in 2011. I love Georgia because it reminds me of my country. When I moved here, I made the decision to work with children so that I could be near my son. I was so lucky that the daycare my son was attending had an open teaching position. That's how my story began as a teacher. I have been working in early childhood education since 2012. I’ve gone to a lot of training to become a better teacher. I find working with children absolutely fascinating! If you’d like to know more, just stop and ask me!

     Hi! My name is Ms. Yasemin. I am the lead teacher in Preschool Pathways. I was born in Germany, but also lived in Turkey> i have lived in the United States for 27 years and I love Georgia.  I graduated from North Cobb Highschool in 2002!  I started my career in Education freshly out of highschool, and have been working with children for several decades. What I love about working with children is their ability to make new connections with each other geniunely. I enjoy hearing them discuss who is their new bestfriend, and all they ways the love one another.

    Hi! My name is Ms. Alayna and I am the Assistant in the Preschool Pathways classroom. 

    I am originally from Conyers, GA. I have three step-siblings... Dennis, Patrick, and Kaytee from my dad's side. I also have a twin brother named Brennen. Back at home, I have a labrador named Rosco. At my current home, I have a kitten named Chimi. I graduated from Alcovy High School in Covington, GA in 2021. I now attend Kennesaw State University majoring in Business Management. Although this is my first professional child-care job, I have a passion for assisting with children's growth and development, alongside setting an education foundation. I took an Early Childhood Education class and learned about cognitive development while working with a Pre-K class. I have also watched and taught my neighbor's twin children.

     Hi! my name is Mrs.Laura. I am the lead teacher in the Preschool classroom. I  was born in Puerto Rico, but raised in Roswell GA. I am married to the love of my life(Gio) and have a bonus daughter Leela. I  graduated from Roswell High School in 2014. Following Graduation I started working in management before switching my career focus to Education. I have been apart of the Primrose School of Wade Green family  for 4 years, and recently completed my CDA with a focus in ages three to five. When I am not working , I enjoy spending time with my family and anything Christmas related!

    Hi! My name is Ms. Karolin, I was born and raised in Bulgaria. My family and I moved to the United States in 2014. I am currently attending Kennesaw State University majoring in Business Management.  I started working at  Primrose Wade Green in 2019, which was the begining of my experience in the field of Early Childhood Education. My favorite part of working with children is seeing how much they grow and learn so many new skills.

    Hi! My name is Ms. Emily and I am one of the PPK3 teachers. I am so excited to be working at Primrose School of Wade Green. I attend Kennesaw State University majoring in Political Science. I also plan on minoring in Legal Studies. I was raised here in Georgia, and I am the youngest of four siblings. I have one older brother and two older twin sisters. I am also an aunt to 3 nephews and 1 niece. My mother, Carmen is also a teacher here at Primrose School of Wade Green. I previously worked as a babysitter when I was in high school. When I graduated, I started working here. When I am not working or focusing on school, I love to spend time with friends and have time to myself.

    Mrs. Agnes graduated from the University of Cape Coast (oversees) in 2000 and taught Elementary school for seven years. She enjoyed helping and guiding students in achieving their goals in life. She taught her four young children to read by the age of 3 at home, it gave her a new passion for early childhood education. She then attended and graduated from Ashworth College with her CDA credential in 2016. During that year, she joined our team here at Primrose School of Wade Green. She enjoys spending time with her husband and taking her children skating and biking on the weekends.

    My name is Carmen Valverde and I am originally from Peru. I have lived in Georgia since 1995 but before I moved to Georgia, I lived in Switzerland for five years. I am married and I have four children: Daniel, 28 years old; Mayrs and Nataly, 26 years old (they’re twins!); and Emily, 12 years old. My family loves to travel and loves to visit other countries. We like to go camping and be around nature. One of the other things we like to do is do service as a family.

    I’ve been with Primrose Schools since 2001 and I’ve been in the infant room ever since! When I lived in Peru, I worked for 18 years in the Air Force in the social work department. I love working here at Primrose School of Wade Green!

    Hola, and Hello! My name is Ms. Simone or Ms. Moe. I am someone who loves to have fun and spread positivity. Some of my hobbies include photography, piano, art, crochet, and K-PoP! I am the second oldest of my three sisters. I have a dog named Milo, who is my angel, and a caring single mother to who I look up. I love my family very much even if we are loud Trinidadians. I currently attend Kennesaw State University and am pursuing a BFA with a major in Theatre and Performance Studies and a minor in Korean. One day, I would like to be a translator. This is my first time working with children and I could not be more excited. I hope to one day translate and teach kids languages.

    Mrs. Allman is originally from Chattanooga, Tennessee and now lives in Dallas, Georgia. She has been married to her husband, Lari, for 15 years. She and Lari have two kids, Kenzie (11) and Landon (5). They have a new puppy named Lake. She graduated in 2007 from UTC with her Bachelor's in Elementary Education. She has taught for Primrose Schools for 14 years, and has been at Primrose School of Wade Green since 2019.

    Hi! My name is Mrs. Natalie and I am the PPKII Lead Teacher. I was born and raised in Miami, Florida. I met my husband in Honduras at a wedding we were both attending. We got married in 2017 and have two beautiful children together. Sophia is four years old, and Lucas is two years old. They both attend here at Primrose School of Wade Green. In college, I worked part-time at a Preschool and I really enjoyed every day there. After having children of my own I became interested in their development and that sparked my interest in working with children. I have worked at two other schools before starting at Primrose. I graduated from Kennesaw State University in 2014 with a Bachelor's Degree in Human Services Case Management.

    Hi! My name is Mr. Nick and I am the Explorer's Teacher. 

    I am born and raised in Marietta, Georgia. As my mom is the owner of the franchise, I attended Primrose School of Wade Green growing up. After graduating from Pre-K here, I attended The Walker School. I am now working on my Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science at Kennesaw State University. I have been a part of the Primrose team for a year now.

    Hi! My name is Ms. Julie and I am the afternoon PPKI teacher. I am 18 years old, and I am a first-generation Hispanic. I am fluent in both Spanish and English. I love animals, my backup dream career is to be a vet or to work in animal control. I use to volunteer at animal shelters. I was raised in Gwinnett, Georgia, and moved to Woodstock when I was around the age of 7. I come from a Mexican family. My dad works in Brick Labor and he is from Jalisco, Mexico. My mom is from El D.F, Mexico. She works in installing sunroofs into cars. I graduated from River Ridge High School a year early. I am starting my sophomore year at Kennesaw State University and I am majoring in Elementary Education. I have a very big family. My dad has 10+ siblings and they all have 3+ kids each. I grew up around kids and babies all my life. I have almost always known I have wanted to be a teacher. My most recent job with children was my nanny job, I worked with an autistic/non-verbal child.

    Hi! My name is Ms. Raina and I am a floater between classrooms. I was born in North Carolina and have been raised in Georgia. I played volleyball and swam all throughout middle school and high school. In my free time, I love reading and baking for my family. I also volunteer at the kitten rescue by my house on the weekends. I have a very big family. I have five siblings, nine nieces and nephews, and 20+ different pets. I hope to have a big family as well. I currently attend Kennesaw State University as a Biology and Nursing student. I am scheduled to graduate in December of 2022. In the future, I hope to become a Certified Nurse Midwife. I started working with kids at the age of 12 by volunteering at the daycare in my neighborhood. Over the years, I have been a camp counselor, lifeguard, swim instructor, nanny, and teacher's assistant at many different schools and daycares.

    The Primrose School of Wade Green is owned and operated by Michelle Rath who is a native of Cobb County, Georgia. I have three children who are all Primrose graduates and currently attend The Walker School in Marietta. I believe Primrose set the foundation for learning and allowing my own children to excel as they have continued their educational experiences beyond Kindergarten at Primrose. I see parents of former Primrose students all the time out in the community and they all say the same thing: "I credit Primrose curriculum and environment for the success my child is having in school to this day." Here at Primrose School of Wade Green, we are committed to providing a safe, secure, nurturing learning environment in our preschool that instills a love of learning and positive self-esteem in every child.
