"We are the Mooneys! Matt, Rachael, Maggie(16), Charlotte(14), Charlie(12), and Henry(1.5). We have been a part of the Primrose family since September 2019 after moving to Richmond from Connecticut for work. Maggie is a junior and Charlotte is a freshman at Deep Run High School. Charlie is a 7th grader at Short Pump Middle School and Henry is a happy camper in the Toddler Room at Primrose. With such a diverse age range in our family, there is never a dull moment at our house, but we wouldn’t have it any other way. We found Primrose School shortly after Henry's first birthday and couldn't be happier! Between Matt's travel for work and having a big family, we rely on Primrose to help keep our life running smoothly! Finding an environment where Henry could learn and play with other kids his age, while enjoying the benefits of a structured day was a top priority for us. After touring Primrose and becoming familiar with their philosophy on learning and child development, we knew we had found the right place. From our first day, Primrose has extended a warmth and kindness to our whole family that has made it Henry’s home away from home. He is greeted each day with hugs and high-fives from his teachers and friends, which has really helped Henry overcome his initial shyness. We marvel at everything he has learned. He knows his colors, (both verbally and in sign language!), shapes and numbers, etc. But to us, the most important skills Henry learns everyday are about being a kind, patient, curious and involved person. Thank you Primrose for everything you do for Henry and our family!"
