Are all staff members background-checked and CPR/first-aid certified?
Yes. Every Primrose staff member undergoes a thorough background check before joining our school. All staff are also CPR and first–aid certified, so you can feel confident your child is in safe, prepared hands every day.
What curriculum or educational philosophy do you follow?
Our school uses the proprietary Primrose Schools Balanced Learning® curriculum, which is research-informed and designed to nurture the whole child — intellectually, socially, emotionally and physically. We believe in balancing teacher-guided learning with purposeful play to build a strong foundation for the future.
How do you support school readiness and the transition to kindergarten?
All of our programs are designed in age-appropriate ways to prepare children for kindergarten and beyond. We are open Monday through Friday from 6:45 am-5:30 pm.

Where is Primrose School of Thornton located?
Primrose School of Thornton is located at 12899 Grant Drive, Thornton, CO 80241, just off the I-25 and 128th Avenue interchange. We are minutes from Hunters Glen Lake Park and serve families across Hunters Glen, Eastlake, Signal Creek, Woodglen and the surrounding 80241 neighborhoods, along with Northglenn, Westminster and north Denver. Our location makes drop off simple whether you are heading south on I-25 toward downtown Denver or north toward E-470 and the 136th corridor.
What elementary schools do Primrose School of Thornton graduates attend?
Most of our Pre-K graduates go on to elementary schools in Adams 12 Five Star Schools, including Hunters Glen, Riverdale, Cherry Drive and Coronado Hills. Families in eastern Thornton typically feed into Brighton 27J.
