We are Bobby, Kirsten, Sam and Parker Bayani, and we are so honored to be the family of the month for Primrose School at the Flatirons! Our family is so lucky to have found a place that feels like a second home for our boys, and we are consistently amazed by all that they learn.
A little about our background: Bobby was born in Iran right before the revolution. His father was a lieutenant in the Shah’s Iranian Air Force, so his family left Iran for the United States shortly after the regime change. Bobby attended Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, and graduated with a degree in aeronautical science. He is a third-generation pilot. He is currently a captain for American Airlines based out of Dallas.
Kirsten is a Colorado native, and is grateful that her boys will be able to claim the same title some day! She has a degree in journalism from CU Boulder, and a master’s degree in secondary education from DU. She is currently completing a master’s program in school counseling, and is starting her internship with Douglas County Schools.
Sam’s full name is Siavosh, and he is named after Bobby’s dad. Sam is curious, kind, and an amazing big brother. His favorite toys are his police motorcycle, anything that belongs to his little brother, and all things with wheels.
Parker is just starting to walk and talk, and has figured out a few sure-fire techniques for getting what he wants. His current vocabulary includes “uh-oh” (which was also Sam’s first word), “Mama,” “Dada” and some version of “milk” and “brother”. He is currently trying very hard to learn to type, and is frustrated that Mom won’t trust him to write these paragraphs.
Thanks again to all of the amazing people at Primrose. Our boys have an outstanding head start thanks to the curriculum at the school. In our boys, we see manners, thoughtfulness, kindness, and a desire to help others. What an amazing start for two little dudes!
