Hello! My name is Shannon Reeves and I am the Director at The Primrose School of Symmes. I absolutely love being part of the Primrose family! A little bit about myself...I earned my B.S. in Education at Miami University and taught Language Arts for 10 years. During that time, I obtained my Master's in Education Administration from Xavier and my Ed. Specialist degree from N.K.U. I joined the Primrose Leadership Team in 2015 and have since achieved a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from N.K.U. I have always had a passion for instructional leadership, as well as building positive relationships with kids and other stakeholders. I live in Anderson with my husband Jeff and my daughter Hannah. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, camping and scrapbooking. It is my belief that education is one of the most important, yet most challenging career fields. I am so grateful to have the opportunity to help the teachers at Primrose provide the best educational experience possible for our kids and our families!

Hello and welcome to the Primrose School of Symmes website. I am the proud owner of this NACI accredited school. I got involved with Primrose while looking for care for my daughter. I visited every childcare facility within a fifty mile radius to find a school where I would be comfortable leaving my daughter while I was at work. Primrose was the only school with which I was comfortable. The warm, home-like feeling was the first thing I noticed when I walked in the door. The staff is experienced and watching how they interacted with the children made me instantly comfortable. The curriculum is well thought out and gets results. I did a lot of soul searching and realized I had the opportunity to combine my love of children, my business experience, and have a wonderful place for my then 20 month old daughter Allison to go to school by owning a Primrose. I have a bachelor's degree in psychology from Indiana University and a master's degree in applied behavioral sciences from Wright State University. I have over 17 years of corporate human resource experience working for major companies such as AlliedSignal/Honeywell, Eaton Corporation and Thermo Fisher Scientific and have lived all across the country and traveled globally. While in college I worked for several preschools and was a nanny in the evenings while in graduate school. The Primrose School of Symmes has a long tradition of excellence in care and education. The average tenure of our staff is over 4 years which very few, if any other center can say. This school does an excellent job of blending education, character development and of course play in a safe and loving environment. The team of educators and caregivers at The Primrose School of Symmes would love to have you come visit please stop by for a tour.
