    Director

    Mrs. Yang is our amazing Director! Originally from Banning California, She has worked in childcare since 2002. In 2005 She started at Primrose School at Sugarloaf Parkway as a Preschool teacher, and has served in so many different capacities including Toddler teacher, Early Preschool teacher, and Curriculum Coordinator before being promoted to Director.

    Mrs. Yang is known for being punctual, professional, and dependable. As a teacher she was amazing and prepared busy groups of students every day, and took them far beyond our expectations. Laughter and music were a commonplace occurrence in her classroom, which was further demonstrated by Mrs. Yang’s favorite quote, “live, laugh, learn: live to the fullest, laugh even when you don’t want to, and learn all that there is to know!”. As Director, she leads with integrity, passion and a commitment to excellence each and every day.

    Ms. Smith is originally from Decatur, GA. She has been in childcare since 2012. Her favorite food is jerk chicken pasta. Ms. Smith’s favorite weekend activity is painting and taking dance classes. She enjoy artistic pursuits on the weekends. Her favorite children’s books are Corduroy and Chicka Chicka Boom Boom. She relates most to Billy the Duck because she believe that promises are sacred and you should uphold your word. She is super excited about joining the Primrose Team and serving a diverse group of students. A quote that resonates with her is “Have courage and be kind,” Cinderella 2018. She like this quote because she respects those who have the courage to standup for their beliefs and to lead with kindness.

    Mrs. McIntosh’s hometown is Sesser, Illinois. She identifies her favorite food as “all the food, just not too keen on pickles”.  Her favorite weekend activities include sleeping in, getting out for fresh air and sunshine, and spending time with her husband, daughter, and their dogs. Her favorite children’s book is Old Cat, New Cat by Bob Eschenbach. The Primrose Character she relates to is Ally the Bunny because she likes to use her imagination to solve problems. She is most excited this school year about what more fun things we can all learn together.  Mrs. McIntosh’s favorite quote is, “When you're a kid, you don't realize you're also watching your parents grow up.”

    Ms. Downing’s hometown is Trenton, New Jersey.  She loves Mexican food.  Her favorite weekend activity is ‘brunch.”  Her favorite children’s book is Love You to the Moon and Back.  The Primrose character she most relates to is Ally the Bunny because she loves to keep her mind active.  She is mostly excited about watching the children grow beyond expectations.  Her favorite quote is “Trust in the Lord and Don’t Be Afraid.”

    Mrs. Debose’s hometown is Atlanta, Georgia. Her favorite food are wings and her favorite weekend activities include organizing and spending time with her own family and church family. Mrs. Debose’s favorite children’s book is Corduroy by Don Freeman. The Primrose character she relates to most is Percy the Rooster because he has a big caring heart who provides leadership to others by setting an example of good character. What she is most excited about this year is getting to know the teachers, children, and their families better. Also, assisting with building an even stronger Primrose Team! Her favorite quote is, “A life in God, is a life worth living.”

  • Mrs. Bishop

    Chef (Mrs.) Bishop’s hometown is Miami, Florida.  Her favorite food is seafood. Her favorite weekend activities include swimming and hiking. Chef Bishop’s favorite children’s book is Diary of A Wimpy Kid by Jeff Kinney. The Primrose Character she most relates to is Erwin the Dog, who represents friendship; he is a real crowd pleaser who loves to help children celebrate friendship and birthdays!  She is most excited this school year to see all of the wonderful kids laughing, playing, and eating great food!  Chef Bishop’s favorite quote is, “One cannot think well, love well, sleep well if one had not dined well.” – Virginia Woolf.

    Originally from Buford, Georgia, Ms. Hardy has been an educator since 1986. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Clark Atlanta University where she pledged the Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority.

    Ms. Hardy enjoys going to Falcon and Hawks games, shopping, watching movies, and spending time with her family and friends. She is a loving mother as well as a dedicated educator whose philosophy is, “Children learn best in a loving, safe, and nurturing environment.” The Primrose friend she most relates to is Og because she loves to read and to teach her Primrose children new words. Ms. Hardy is looking forward to having a wonderful, fun-filled and educational year with all of her Primrose children

    Ms. Feist’s hometown is New Orleans, Louisiana, and her favorite foods are icorn and rice. She enjoys arts and crafts on the weekends. Her favorite children’s book is Goodnight Moon by Margret Wise Brown. The Primrose Character she relates to is Billy the Duck because like Billy, Ms. Feist loves a good song and loves to sing along! She is most excited this school year about getting the opportunity to witness the childrens experiences with new discoveries, and developing relationships with their peers!  Her favorite quote is, “The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.”

    Mrs. Nickerson’s hometown is Barnstable, Massachusetts, and her favorite food is lobster ravioli. Mrs. Nickerson’s favorite weekend activity is watching football. Her favorite children’s book is Tikki Tikki Tembo. The Primrose Character she most relates to is Libby the Lamb because she gives everyone a turn to speak, making sure each person finds their voice. She is most excited about witnessing the kids make new discoveries this year. Mrs. Nickerson’s favorite quote is, "Whatever you choose to do, leave tracks. That means don't do it just for yourself. You will want to leave the world a little better for your having lived."

    Mrs. Martinez is originally from Columbia. She has been working in the early childhood field since 2002 and with Primrose School at Sugarloaf Parkway since 2007. Mrs. Martinez most relates with Primrose friend, "Mia the Mouse" as she loves the outdoors and staying active. She enjoys going to the park on the weekends. Her favorite dish is lasagna. Her favorite quote is “No one knows what they have until they have lost it!”

    Mrs. Lopez’s hometown is Lawrenceville, Georgia, and her favorite food is tacos. She enjoys shopping on the weekends. Mrs. Lopez’s favorite children’s book is Where The Wild Things Are by Maurice Sendak. She is most excited this school year to grow a bond with her students and watch their growth and development!  Her favorite quote is, “What is done in love is done well.”

Her favorite weekend activity involves spending time with her family or hiking.  Ms. Ceraso’s favorite children’s book is It’s a Small World After All by James Wong. The Primrose Character she most relates to is Katie the Cat because she values cooperation like Katie. She is most excited this school year about getting to know all her amazing students and helping to teach them new things! Her favorite quote is, “Laughter is timeless, imagination has no age, dreams are forever.”

    Ms. Moreno is a local from Lawrenceville, Georgia, and her favorite foods are mexican and sushi. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends on the weekends. Ms. Moreno’s favorite children’s book is The Mystery Kitten by Holly Webb. The Primrose Character that she relates to is Libby the Lamb, who represents fairness and gives everyone a turn to speak, making sure each person finds their voice. Ms. Moreno is most excited about being a part of each child’s learning and to help them improve in every aspect of their lives.     Ms. Wilson’s hometown is Demopolis, Alabama, Georgia, and her favorite type of food is Mexican food. Her favorite weekend activities include spending time with her sisters; they enjoy spending time together. Ms. Wilson’s favorite children’s book is Rainbow Fish by Marcus Pfister. The Primrose Character she relates to most is Billy the Duck; she believes in keeping her promises and ensuring that others trust her because she is honest in her actions. She is most excited about the relationships that she will develop with Primrose students and their families! Ms. Wilson’s favorite quote is, “Everything you do, do with excellence, you never know who’s watching.” -Dad

    Mrs. St. Louis’s hometown is East Orange, New Jersey. She loves Chinese food and plays the Sims for her weekend relaxation. Her favorite children’s books are the ones about Pete the Cat by Eric Litwin, because who could ever choose just one? The Primrose Character she relates to most is Molly the Cow because being respectful with others is important, and it’s important to teach others about respect. She is most excited to learn more about every student this year. Mrs. St. Louis’s favorite quote is, “In a world where you can be anything, be for real!”

    Ms. Sinclair’s hometown is Snellville, Georgia, and her favorite food is spaghetti. Ms. Sinclair enjoys visiting her family on the weekends. Her favorite children’s book is The Night You Were Born by Nancy Tillman. The Primrose Character she relates to is Katie the Cat because she is very polite, fun to be around, and enjoys helping Primrose children learn to share and care about each other. She is most excited this school year to see how her students grow socially and deepen their friendships with their classmates! Her favorite quote is, “We are all as much continuous with the universe as a wave is continuous with the ocean.”

The Primrose Character she most relates to is Erwin the Dog because he is a real crowd-pleaser who loves to help Primrose children celebrate friendship and birthdays!  She is most excited this school year about teaching the students new things.  Her favorite quote is, “Growing old is unavoidable, but never growing up is possible.”

    Ms. Tucker’s hometown is in New York, and her favorite food is seafood. On the weekends, she enjoys shopping. Ms. Tucker’s favorite children’s book is Pete the Cat, (all of them!) by Eric Litwin. The Primrose Character she relates to most is Benjamin the bear, who is happiest when outdoors and represents generosity. What she is most excited about this year is to teacher the wonderful Primrose curriculum to her students.  Ms. Tucker’s favorite quote is, “Don’t be afraid to give up the good for the great.” - John Rockefeller

    Ms. Ramsey’s hometown is Hartwell, Georgia.  Her favorite food are buffalo wings.  Her favorite weekend activity is spending quality time with family and friends.  Her favorite children’s book is The Very Hungry Caterpillar.  The Primrose character she most relates to is Katie the Cat because she is cooperative like Katie.  She is mostly excited about getting to know the staff and children at Primrose.

    Mrs. Markland’s hometown is Loganville, Georgia, and her favorite food are shrimp tacos. Her favorite weekend activities include movies and anything that her family is involved in! Mrs. Markland’s favorite children’s book author is Dr. Suess. The Primrose Character she relates to most is Percy the Rooster because he has a big caring heart and provides leadership to others by setting an example of a good character. Mrs. Markland is most excited about getting to know each child in her class andmaking new friends & memories with the whole Primrose Family!”.  Mrs. Markland’s favorite quote is, “Success is the ability to move from one failure to another without loss of enthusiasm.”

Ms. Town’s favorite children’s book is David Goes to School Goes to School by David Shannon. The Primrose Character she relates to most is Katie the Cat, who is interested in people’s lives and is fun to be around. She is excited to meet new students this year and learn more about each of them.     Mrs. Diaz is originally from the Dominican Republic. Since beginning her career in early childhood education in 2007 she has gained experience working with all of the age groups. When asked which Primrose Friend she most relates to her response was "Og the Bookworm" because she LOVES to read! She enjoys watching sports over the weekend.

Mrs. William’s favorite children’s book is If You Give a Mouse a Cookie by Laura Numeroff. The Primrose Character she relates to most is Libby the Lamb because she agrees with Libby that each person should be given that chance to find their own voice. She is most excited to help shape young minds this school year!

    Mrs. Harvey’s hometown is in New Jersey and ehr favorite food is chicken. She enjoys shopping on the weekends. Her favorite children’s book series is Curious George by Margret Rey and H. A. Rey. The Primrose Character she relates to is Peanut the Pony, who represents honesty and likes to share stories with all the Primrose children! Mrs. Harvey stated that her is most excited this school year to see how far and how much we can learn! Her favorite quote is, “A good attitude will take you far.”

    Ms. Turner has owned and operated Primrose School at Sugarloaf Parkway since they first opened their doors in 2003. She has been in education since 1986 and continues to love what she does! She can be "caught" loving on and playing with children (or teachers and parents) in classrooms at any given moment. She has taught all areas and age levels, but has a special place in her teaching heart for math and science. She has Bachelor's Degrees in Education and Sociology and a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership. Ms. Turner is very active in her church and she and her husband lead the church's marriage ministry called Married.4.Life. She is also a certified Yoga Instructor. Ms. Turner is also a former Primrose Parent and proud Mom to three awesome young men who were all Primrose students. Ms. Turner considers herself to be a lifetime learner and encourages everyone to do the same. She loves giving "homework" to parents and teachers of our school, so beware! She likes everyone to be in "think and create mode". She loves to listen to all types of music, visit museums and practice yoga. She is an avid reader and loves a great "book talk". She loves to travel, try new foods, experience different cultures and has been all over the world enjoying meeting people from different walks of life. She is a proud graduate of the class of 2007 and active alumni of Leadership Gwinnett, through the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce. She is also a member of the Gwinnett County Alumnae Chapter of the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority and loves to talk "Delta" with the Sisters who have their children in our school. One of the many favorite quotes she has (and she has many) is "It's not the duration of your life, but the donation of it. Not how long you lived, but how you lived."(From the Purpose Driven Life). Another favorite quote is "When I stand before God at the end of my life, I would hope that I would not have a single bit of talent left, and I could say "I have used everything You gave me".
