"While we try to teach our children all about life, our children teach us what life is all about." Angela Schwindt

I joined Primrose School of Stone Oak as the Executive Director in 2004. I have fallen in love with the positive attitudes and warm engagements the children and their family bring in everyday. I have been working in the childcare industry for over 18 years and cherish every moment and learning experience. It was Primrose's mission to nurture minds, bodies, and hearts of our children that truly attracted me to this school. Aside from creating a warm environment for our wonderful teachers and children, I love to visit local farmers markets and watch movies with my daughter Alyssa. I look forward to enhancing your child's learning experience and helping them meet their full potential here at Primrose School of Stone Oak.

Hi there! My name is Ms. Kurji and I am the Director of Communications here at Primrose School of Stone Oak. I am currently in the process of completing my Bachelor’s degree in Communications / Public Relations from The University of Texas at San Antonio. I’ve been working with children for the last 5 years and I just love how their little brains work! One thing that immediately attracted me to Primrose is their well-balanced learning curriculum. There is an intention and a learning outcome attached to every learning experience here. I am truly excited to be a part of the Primrose Team! After living in many different cities here and abroad, I'm excited to call San Antonio my permanent home. In my free time I love painting, reading, listening to music, and going to local festivals and events. I look forward to meeting your family and introducing you to our school!

    Ms. Lee

    Curriculum Coordinator

Hello! My name is Ms. Lee. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration at Universidad Anahuac in Mexico City. I am also a mom to two girls. In 2005, I moved to San Antonio and studied English as a Second Language (ESL). I began teaching Kindergarten to complete a total of 23 years and counting in the classroom. After being a teacher at Primrose for over 12 years, I am excited to be joining the team as a Curriculum Coordinator. I enjoy supporting the teachers and helping them reach their full potential in delivering the Balanced Learning Curriculum. The Balanced Learning Curriculum is one of the most comprehensive and inclusive curriculums that I’ve had the opportunity to implement. I am grateful to be working with the most diligent teachers and staff members. The students and their families are very involved and there’s a strong sense of community, making the teaching and learning process smooth, enjoyable, and fun. I am so excited to see all the light-bulb moments happen this year!

I can’t wait to learn more about you and your family.

  • Ms. Rodriguez, School Chef

    Ms. Rodriguez

    School Chef

Hi! My name is Ms. Rodriguez. I attended the Art Institute of San Antonio and earned my Bachelor’s of Science in Culinary Management in 2015. Since then I’ve worked in every corner of the industry from catering, hotels and restaurants. I have had the humor of working under a James Beard Award Chef (Lorenzo Polegri Zeppelin, in Orvieto, Italy) and a James Beard nominated Chef (Emiliano Marentes, El Emi in El Paso, Texas)

Once I started my family, I wanted to find somewhere that had a more family oriented schedule. I found Primrose in 2019 and since then it has been a place I love so dearly. It has given me an identity as a Chef as well as peace of mind as a mother of two who also attend Primrose. I never though I would be a “lunch lady” but I like to think our menu is far from typical. My aim is to keep the lunch menu diverse to expose students to new things but also sprinkle it with some cafeteria classics and favorite comfort foods.

I look forward to building a love for food that nourishes your children for life.

I have a Bachelor's of Science in Family Resource Management from Auburn University. Originally, teaching was a convenient way to spend more time with my kids because my schedule mirrored their own. As time progressed, I understood the unique opportunity I had as a teacher to watch each individual child grow and learn as they are exposed to new information. I love to travel and cook with my family when I am not teaching!
