"While we try to teach our children all about life, our children teach us what life is all about." Angela Schwindt

I joined Primrose School of Stone Oak as the Executive Director in 2004. I have fallen in love with the positive attitudes and warm engagements the children and their family bring in everyday. I have been working in the childcare industry for over 18 years and cherish every moment and learning experience. It was Primrose's mission to nurture minds, bodies, and hearts of our children that truly attracted me to this school. Aside from creating a warm environment for our wonderful teachers and children, I love to visit local farmers markets and watch movies with my daughter Alyssa. I look forward to enhancing your child's learning experience and helping them meet their full potential here at Primrose School of Stone Oak.

Hi there! My name is Ms. Kurji and I am the Director of Communications here at Primrose School of Stone Oak. I am currently in the process of completing my Bachelor’s degree in Communications / Public Relations from The University of Texas at San Antonio. I’ve been working with children for the last 5 years and I just love how their little brains work! One thing that immediately attracted me to Primrose is their well-balanced learning curriculum. There is an intention and a learning outcome attached to every learning experience here. I am truly excited to be a part of the Primrose Team! After living in many different cities here and abroad, I'm excited to call San Antonio my permanent home. In my free time I love painting, reading, listening to music, and going to local festivals and events. I look forward to meeting your family and introducing you to our school!

    Chef

Hi! My name is Ms. Rodriguez. I have been cooking professionally for about 13 years now. However, this is my first time cooking for children other than my 21 month old son. I have to say it is truly humbling to cook for children. They are content with such simplistic flavor profiles. This keeps me on my toes trying to find child versions of some of my signature dishes. So far the kids really seem to love what I'm cooking and it really warms my heart to know I have the opportunity to nourish all of them .

Hello! I am Mrs. Devlin and I started working for Primrose School of Stone Oak in 2016, but I have been working with kids for my entire adult life. I have a Bachelor's of Science in Family Resource Management from Auburn University. Originally, teaching was a convenient way to spend more time with my kids because my schedule mirrored their own. As time progressed, I understood the unique opportunity I had as a teacher to watch each individual child grow and learn as they are exposed to new information. I love to travel and cook with my family when I am not teaching!

    Toddler Teacher

Hello! I am Ms. Allen, a teacher in our Early Pre School Program. I am originally from North Carolina, which is where I received a B.S. in Geology at Western Carolina University. After getting my degree, I traveled to India where I had my first experience working with children as a volunteer teacher for a non-profit school for underprivileged youths. I loved seeing the joy children got from learning new things and I wanted to continue teaching! After returning to the states, I started working in roles where I could care for children and help them grow. I know how important it is for children to be in a loving and engaging environment from an early start. With my background in science, I hope to help nourish a seed of curiosity in each child. I am passionate about providing excellent care so that children can form a strong foundation for developing social-emotional skills and a wonder for learning!
