Raised in Illinois, with a passion for teaching, I obtained my degree in Elementary Education. Marrying and moving to Colorado, I began teaching preschool in 1991, working with infants through PreK. I earned my Directorship in Early Childhood Education in 2013 and found my home with Primrose Schools in 2014! After being the Assistant Director at two Primrose schools I am now proud to be the Director for Primrose School at Sterling Ranch. My husband, Tom, and I have two grown daughters, Kari (married to JD) and Kirsten, along with our two granddaughters, Romee Grace and Raylee Sage, who all live in Missouri. A few horses, a pony and a couple dogs round out our family. I love kids, animals and all things western. Words from Bekah -

Greetings everyone! My name is Rebekah Anderson (you can call me Bekah), and I am beyond excited to be joining you and Primrose School at Sterling Ranch family. I have worked in Early Childhood education as a Lead Teacher since 2008 and I obtained my Directors Certification in 2012. As I was taking my Lead teaching classes, I became even more aware of the importance of this field. The fact that 85% of children’s core brain structure is developed by age of four, not only blew my mind, but increased my passion to be a part of that critical development stage. I knew that the social-emotional development, educational, and physical skills that each child learns prior to the age of 5, sets the foundation for future academia to be built upon. It has been an absolute privilege to learn, teach, and partner with children of all ages and their families through my years of experience.

In 2014 I began my teaching career at a Primrose School and have fallen in love with the balanced learning, high integrity, and character enriching curriculum. I couldn’t be more excited about joining the Primrose School at Sterling Ranch administration team as the Curriculum Coordinator. I also look forward to working together with the staff and the families to create the best enriching environment for character to bloom and eager minds to grow.

My passion for children doesn’t stop with the early childhood age, but extends all the way to junior high and high school students. Once a week I volunteer at my local churches youth program to help create a safe, fun and adventurous environment for teens. I absolutely love having the balance of working with children from a wide range of ages throughout my week. In my spare time I love game nights, disc golf and getting outdoors.

My husband Mark and I met in the 4th grade through church, have worked in two Early Childhood Schools together and have been married for four years. We are both Colorado Natives and have enjoyed not only living in the Lakewood/Little area, but down in beautiful Colorado Springs.

Primrose School at Sterling Ranch will be my third home in my Primrose journey, and I am incredibly honored to be a part of it. Thank you for taking the time to get to know me a little bit, and I can’t wait to do the same with you.

Our family is excited to begin this journey with Primrose and Sterling Ranch. We look forward to serving the community of Sterling Ranch and surrounding area as their early education child care provider. We will collaborate with teachers and staff and most importantly partner with parents for the same goals in mind: The children- their safety and to establish their love for learning as they continue to grow. We know the positive impact a Primrose school can make on the community, families, employees and the children. We have a vested interest in our new community and we are excited to be able to provide an opportunity for families to give their children the foundation for learning. Both of our daughters attended Primrose schools through their early childhood, so we know first hand the impact that a Primrose can make.
