  • Kelly Smith, Director

    Kelly Smith

    Director

I am excited to become the Director! I look forward to getting to know each one of you and building those strong relationships with your children. I come to you with 15+ years of early childhood education experience. I hold my license for Large Center Director by the state of Colorado and have been looking into becoming a coach for Colorado Shines to be able to guide new educators in the field to success. I’ve also spent some time on an Early Childhood Council to gain more knowledge on how we can best support the families and children within our community. Children’s growth is a huge passion of mine, and I am dedicated to providing you with the absolute best care for your little ones. A little fun background on me: Originally from Wisconsin (Go Packers & Brewers) but moved to Colorado when I was in grade school. I am a lover for the outdoors, I’ve climbed 23 Colorado 14ers and plan on climbing them all. Recently I picked up fly fishing as well. Traveling is a huge part of my life; my two favorite places so far are Germany and England. (Big into learning about the culture wherever I travel to). A fun side hobby and mini career of mine that everyone laughs at is that I also am a professional Axe thrower. I travel around Colorado to compete in mini tournaments, but a lot of my fellow throwers have made it all the way to ESPN. I’m excited to learn more about you and your families as you just got a little glimpse into my life. If you have any questions, concerns, would like to set up a meeting to discuss your child’s goals or just to get to know each other better, please feel free to ask. My door will always be open (or I’ll be wandering through classrooms supporting the educators and enjoying the company of your children). Looking forward to this brand-new start! Thank you for trusting me with your child’s education! Best, Kelly Smith

Our family is excited to begin this journey with Primrose and Sterling Ranch. We look forward to serving the community of Sterling Ranch and surrounding area as their early education child care provider. We will collaborate with teachers and staff and most importantly partner with parents for the same goals in mind: The children- their safety and to establish their love for learning as they continue to grow. We know the positive impact a Primrose school can make on the community, families, employees and the children. We have a vested interest in our new community and we are excited to be able to provide an opportunity for families to give their children the foundation for learning. Both of our daughters attended Primrose schools through their early childhood, so we know first hand the impact that a Primrose can make.
