My name is Mrs. Adrian Hatcher and I am the Educational Coach at Primrose. I am from the Midwest and I do not miss the cold nor the snow. Once I graduated high school, I enlisted in the U.S. Navy. During my tour overseas I met my husband. We brought four lovely children into this world, two girls and then our 2 boys. Once our children was of age, I wanted to enter back into the workforce. So I looked for a quality childcare center. At the time, I

did not know what that actually looked like. But I knew I wanted to leave my children in the hands of someone that would care for them as much as I would. With that being said, no one met my expectations or approval. I then decided to learn how to become a Home Childcare Provider. I became a business owner teaching children while providing for our household as well. I have always had a passion for teaching and training children. Maintaining safety,

implementing lesson plans, and providing quality child care in my home was a must. Throughout my life I have taught children from infancy to school aged. I was hired as the Lead teacher in every childcare agency I have worked for. My Directors called on me to train the new employees and mentor the seasoned teachers leading by example and by showing how structured my classroom was no matter the age. I was then promoted to Assistant Director and I experienced being a Curriculum Specialist, a Cook, a Van Driver, and a “Nurse”. As your Educational Coach I am here to listen, assist you, continue learning, and have fun mentoring the program. Let’s continue to make Primrose a great school where children learn through play!
FalseTrueAdrian Hatcher , Education Coach

It was here that he learned to speak English, pursue a new way of life and acclimate to American values. Ed studied hard, worked hard and prospered. He started his career in the restaurant industry with Wendy’s. After moving up into management, he shifted gears and began to work for Penske, the truck rental company. Developing strong managerial skills and excellence in overall business practices enabled Ed to flourish in this new industry while simultaneously achieving his bachelor’s degree in business administration. After significant success, he decided to explore the route of independent business owner and bought into the Planet Smoothie franchise. It was with Planet Smoothie that Ed eventually went on to own, manage and operate five different locations while simultaneously growing the territory as the Franchise Area Developer for Planet Smoothie. This experience is what prepared Ed for effective management of a Primrose School. In 2012, Ed, along with other family members, purchased his first Primrose School in Longwood, near Orlando. Most recently, in October 2016, Ed and his lovely wife, Marta, made the decision to purchase and operate the Primrose Schools at Julington Creek and St Johns Forest, both located in St Johns County.

Marta’s own story is similar to Ed’s. After spending her childhood under the communist rule of Fidel Castro, Marta and her family left Cuba for the United States when Marta was just 17 years old. With no background in the English language, Marta entered public high school and began to learn by immersion. With hard work and perseverance, Marta managed to master the language and graduate from high school. Once she met Ed, it was a love story in the making. Together, they focused on their goals of raising a loving and faith-filled family. Marta dedicated her time to raising and educating their children, Marilyn and Eduardo, while Ed pursued his interests in business. Today, Marilyn and Eduardo are both successful college students on the verge of their own interesting and productive careers. With more time on her hands, Marta is looking forward to joining Ed in the mission of loving and caring for the children of Primrose.
