Information Congratulations Harding Family!

Hello! We are the Harding Family—Jeff, Faith, and Deacon (3.5yo in PS2). Our family enjoys traveling, playing at parks, reading books, discovering local restaurants and attractions, walking to our neighborhood pond, and movie & pizza night every Friday.

Jeff is from the Arizona desert and Faith is a Texas native. We met in Dallas while volunteering with youth ministry, fell in love, got married, and had Deacon there. We relocated to St Charles in January 2022 when Jeff took a new position at Calvary Church. It was hard leaving friends, family, beloved childcare providers, and free babysitting, and we were a bit nervous about finding a good school for Deacon.

We live in a neighborhood behind Primrose and loved the proximity to the school, but in Feb 2022 there wasn’t a full-time opening available. For a while we had Deacon at three different preschools in the area in order to have Monday through Friday coverage, since we both work full time and have no local family to help. Deacon was originally just at Primrose on Tuesdays & Thursdays and we were on waitlists for a full-time spot. Eventually, full time spots opened up at all three of the preschools, but it wasn’t even a question for us — we had already fallen in love with Primrose and the teachers in the PSP classroom. Drop offs at Primrose went much smoother and he genuinely seemed happier there. Other things that stood out were the high level of security, and the constant communication and updates through the Procare app. On top of the comfort and assurance, other aspects, like the healthy menu for the provided meals and snacks and the fact that nap-time linens were provided and laundered for us, were icing on the cake.

The leadership, administrative staff, and all of Deacon’s teachers have been incredibly supportive, communicative, kind, and generous with their time. It was amazing to see how every staff member, even teachers in other classrooms, knew Deacon’s name and would say “hi” to him in the hallways or at school events like Spring Fling, Picnic in the Park, etc. There is truly nothing better than knowing your child is safe and cared for, and we’re so thankful for Primrose for providing that and so much more.
