A little about them in their own words:
The Capone Family - Richard, Lisa, Morgan, and Sam (our dog) - moved to St. Charles one year ago, and it has been so much fun getting to know the area and the wonderful Primrose families! We moved from Louisiana “Cajun Country” where the food is spicy and the motto is “laissez les bon temps rouler” (let the good times roll). Most people would not know that Morgan was actually born during Hurricane Barry when it hit Lafayette in 2019. We miss family and friends in Louisiana but NOT hurricane season.
Richard and Lisa met at LSU and our careers have taken us from Baton Rouge to Stillwater, Oklahoma, back to Louisiana (Lafayette), and now in Missouri. Lisa works for the University of Missouri-St. Louis and Richard works in the cybersecurity field. As a family we like to travel, play outdoors, and explore all that the greater St. Louis area has to offer – Zoo, Botanic Gardens, Main Street St. Charles, Eckert’s Farm, and more. We’re always up to try something new, and we’d love to take your suggestions on new places to see. This is a picture of us climbing Tower Rock in the Mississippi River when the water was at a record low last year.
Throughout our transition to this area, we have felt so lucky to have found Primrose. The school goes above and beyond to bring in new families, make them feel welcomed, and actively connect them with other families through a large variety of social activities. Morgan loves going to Primrose and has learned so much this past year. Primrose has a clear commitment to educational excellence and building authentic relationships with parents, children, and families.
P.S. Don’t worry. We are not related to Al Capone.
