Katy Green is the Director of the Primrose School of Southwest Austin. Katy graduated Summa Cum Laude from Texas State with a Bachelors Degree in Education and Teaching Certificate. Katy has been with Primrose since the first academic school year at the Primrose School of Shady Hollow in 2006. She started out as a preschool teacher at the Primrose School of Shady Hollow. The following year, Katy moved to the Kindergarten classroom where she stayed for the next five years. Katy truly loved her job teaching little ones to read and write, add, and subtract. The summer of 2012, Katy was promoted to the director position at the Primrose School of Southwest Austin. She is from Austin, Tx and she loves to spend time with boys Brandon and Kaleb, and husband Brian. Katy really loves to read, and is constantly downloading new books to her Kindle. Her favorite children's book is Goodnight Moon. Katy relates to the Primrose friend, Og the Bookworm, the most because of her love of reading!
Felicia Rico is the Assistant Director at the Primrose School of Southwest Austin. She began her career with children in 2007 with another private preschool. In 2010, Felicia moved to the Primrose School of Shady Hollow and then to the Primrose School of Southwest Austin in 2012. Here, she has taught multiple classrooms and eventually settled as the assistant director in 2017. Felicia has her Bachelor's Degree in Sports Science and is originally from Sugar Land, Tx. She loves to spend her weekends with family and friends hanging out outdoors. Felicia's favorite children's book is Oh the Places You Will Go. She most relates to the Primrose friend, Erwin the Dog, because she loves to celebrate her friends!
Gaby Tijerina is the Curriculum Coach of the Primrose School of Southwest Austin. She graduated from the Art Institute of Austin with a Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Marketing and Merchandising. After working as a stylist she decided to change her pace and fell in love with childcare. Gaby has been working at the Primrose School of Southwest Austin since 2018. She started in the infant room and then moved to young toddlers. Gaby has also been member of the support staff. In October of 2021 she was promoted to Curriculum Coach. Gaby enjoys spending time with all of the children, sharing milestones with their parents, and brightening their day. When Gaby is not at work she enjoys spending time with her very loud family and her quiet husband Kenneth, barbecues, laying by the pool, and the occasional trip to her beautiful native land Mexico.
Chef Liz began her career with children here at the Primrose School of Southwest Austin in 2016. She has her associates degree and a Yoga Certification. Liz spent her first three and a half years as a support staff member and you could often find her helping our students relax in some yoga poses. In 2020, Liz became Chef Liz and has been feeding our children yummy, healthy food. She is originally from Salinas, CA. Liz loves to spend her weekends going for a run, working out, meditating, or reading a good book. Her favorite children's book is Oh the Places You Will Go. The Primrose friend Chef Liz relates to most is Percy the Rooster, because he promotes courage. He offers wisdom, has a big caring heart, and provides leadership to others by setting a good example of character.
Ms. Marian began her career with children babysitting and taking care of family. She is originally from Chicago, Il. Marian loves to spend her weekends cooking out with family. Her favorite children's book is No David!. Ms. Marian just adores our littlest Primrose students.
Ms. Christine joined us at the Primrose School of Southwest Austin with two years of experience in childcare. She is originally from Austin, Tx. Christine loves to spend her weekends going to the park with her daughter and two puppies. Her favorite children's books are The Berenstein Bears. The Primrose friend Ms. Christine relates to most is Billy the Duck, because she loves listening to music.
Ms. Mandy is the Lead Teacher for the Early Preschool 1 classroom at Primrose. She began her childcare career with Primrose in 2018. Mandy has her Bachelor's Degree with a Major in Japanese and a Minor in Business. Her hometown is Georgetown, Tx and loves to spend her weekends playing soccer. Ms. Mandy's favorite children's book is The Three Bears. The Primrose friend Mandy relates to most is Benjamin the Bear, because she loves the outdoors.
Ms. Brianna is the Assistant Teacher for the Early Preschool 1 classroom. She joined the Primrose team in 2020 with just over a year of childcare experience. Brianna is currently working on her Bachelor's Degree. She is originally from Austin, Texas and enjoys shopping and spending time with her family on the weekends. Ms. Brianna's favorite children's book is Oh the Places You'll Go. She most relates to the Primrose friend Erwin the Dog because she loves to color and paint. She also loves celebrating birthdays!
Ms. Alyssa is a Co-Lead Teacher for the Preschool 1 classroom at Primrose. She began her career in early education here at the Primrose School of Southwest Austin in early 2020. Alyssa is originally from Fargo, ND. She loves spending time with her family on the weekends. Ms. Alyssa's favorite children's book is The Giving Tree. The Primrose friend she relates to most is Og the Bookworm, because she loves to care for others.
Ms. Hadduck is one of the Kindergarten Co-Lead teachers at Primrose. She has various childcare experience working with children ranging from 2 to 12 years old. Ms. Hadduck has been with the Primrose School of Southwest Austin since 2018. She has her Bachelor's of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education. Ms. Hadduck is originally from Dallas, Texas and Orange County California. She loves to cook and bake on the weekend and her favorite children's book is Giraffes Can't Dance. Ms. Hadduck relates most to the Primrose friend Billy the Duck because she enjoys the fun of singing. Whether its in the classroom, in the car, or at home, songs are a way to express yourself and create memories.
Ms. Amanda is the Support Teacher for the Pre-Kindergarten Classrooms at Primrose. She joined our team in 2020 and has 10 years of prior experience working with children. Ms. Amanda has built her childcare experience working in private childcare and the public school system. She has her Bachelor's in Photography and is working on a Certification in SPED and EC-6th grade. Amanda is originally from Hoffman Estates, IL and loves to spend her weekends with watercolors and photography. Her favorite children's books are Don't Push the Button and Panda Bear, Panda Bear, What Do You See?. Amanda most relates to the Primrose Friend, Molly the Cow, because she likes to treat others with kindness and wants others to treat her with kindness.
Ms. Jeny is a member of the support team at Primrose School of Southwest Austin. She joined the team in 2021. Jeny is currently in school for elementary education and child development. She is originally from Austin, Texas and loves to cook on the weekend. Ms. Jeny's favorite children's book is Too Many Tamales. She most relates to the Primrose friend Og the Bookworm because he loves to read and is very caring.

Chris Rolfsen comes from a 15 year career with Motorola/Freescale and Shannan Rolfsen joins the school from a 12 year career with non-profits including Make-A-Wish and the American Cancer Society.
After having their son, Callen, Chris and Shannan were so impressed by the quality of education delivered by Primrose, they purchased the Primrose School of Round Rock.
