Schedule A TourHello, my name is Kathy Rosso. My hometown is Corpus Christi, Texas. I have had over 19 years of childcare experience. My first job was at a drop in Child Care Center. Through this experience I made the decision to be a Child Care Professional. I was hired as the Assistant Director at Primrose School at Sonoma Ranch in March 20, 2006….a day I will always remember. In February of 2011 I was promoted to the Director of Primrose School at Sonoma Ranch. This is an exceptional school because of the strong team work that we experience together.
Hello, my name is Jennifer Lara. My hometown is in El Paso, Texas. Before moving to San Antonio, I worked at the University of El Paso’s Child Development Center. Later, I worked for the El Paso Independent School District as a Spanish teacher, along with tutoring Math and Reading. I have been at the Primrose School at Sonoma Ranch for over 15 years. When I first started teaching at Primrose, I taught in our Pre-KI Program. In the summer of 2008 I was promoted to the Assistant Director position. In February of 2011 I took on a new role as the Curriculum Director.
I'm Anna Perina. I wanted to tell you a little about myself. My family and I moved to San Antonio in August of 2016 and have made this city our permanent home. My husband and I have been married since the year 2000 and we have one daughter and two dogs. My hobbies include reading, spending time with my family and experiencing everything that San Antonio has to offer. Moving to San Antonio has been one of the best decisions we've made as a family and we absolutely love living here. I can't wait to learn more about you and your family.
I’m Cecilia Ramirez. I wanted to tell you a little about myself. I’ve been married for 21 years. I have 4 children, 3 girls and 1 boy.I love to cook and enjoy my time learning to make the children I feed happy. I have worked in the childcare industry for the past 7 years as a chef. I can’t wait to learn more about you and your family.
I’m Dorothy Plata. I wanted to tell you alittle about myself. I am originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico and I’ve been living in Texas for over 35 years. I’ve been married to Joseph Plata for over 40 years. Together we have three children and seven grandchildren. I have over 25 years teaching experience. 9.5 of those years I have been here at Primrose School at Sonoma Ranch. Where I have enjoyed being the Lead Teacher in the Infant Classroom. I can’t wait to learn more about you and your family.
I’m Mrs. Das. I wanted to tell you a little about myself. I have joined the Primrose team. I am married and have one lovely daughter who is in her second year of college. My husband is a senior IT consultant for the federal government. I have a bachelor’s degree in Education and Political Science. In the past, I have served as a Pre- K volunteer for many years. I am excited to mention that to my sincere work, I was voted as the Apple of the Eye summer of 2021. The staff and colleagues are very friendly and helpful. I am fortunate to be a part of the Primrose family and watching the children grow and learn everyday. I can’t wait to learn more about you and your family.
Hello, my name is Olga Longoria. I was born and raised in the San Antonio area. Prior to coming to Primose School at Sonoma Ranch in the spring of 2010, I worked in the Floresville ISD for seven years. I worked as an assistant in the Pre-K and Kindergarten Classrooms. I can't wait to learn about you and your family.
I’m Megan McCoig. I wanted to tell you a little about myself. I am the middle child with a total of 6 brothers, 3 older (two are stepbrothers) and 3 younger (one is a stepbrother). I have 2 dogs, but my pitbull Cocoa is my favorite. I like to sing, sew, watch movies, and go bowling. My favorite food is chicken and I do not like fruit except for apples and fresh raspberries. I graduated from BYU-Idaho in 2017 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development. I spent the last 3 years working at the Doseum, helping to grow their Early Childhood Education Programs. I can’t wait to learn more about you and your family.
I’m Darrion Stephens.I wanted to tell you a little about myself. I moved to San Antonio in 2021 from the Woodlands. I started my Primrose journey at the Primrose of Sterling Ridge in 2018, now I will continue it here at Primrose School at Sonoma Ranch. I have 4 siblings two brothers and two sisters. My favorite children's book is Sulwe by Lupita Nyongo. I'm excited to watch my children grow and see all the things they will learn in the classroom. I’m Jenna Davis. I wanted to tell you a little about myself. I am the youngest of 5 older brothers and I’m adopted. I love to sing, play tennis, and spend time with my friends and family. I enjoy being around my nieces and nephews. My favorite Primrose character I most relate to is Billy the Duck because I love music! I can’t wait to learn more about you and your family.
I’m Mrs. Rios. I wanted to tell you a little about myself. I have two awesome children!I love playing board games and collecting little mermaid items! Spending my day getting to know children and helping them grow and learn is my passion! I can’t wait to learn more about you and your family.
Hello! I’m Mrs. Luna. I am from Mexico City. My family and I have lived in San Antonio since 2005. I have worked as a teacher since 2010. I have enjoyed learning from children and in return teaching them many new things. In my free time I enjoy my family, cooking and going for walks. I can’t wait to see you on the first day of school!
Monica and Terry Snow opened the Primrose School at Sonoma Ranch on January 30, 2006. Both are committed to making their school the premier educational childcare facility in the area where children come to learn and grow. Monica brings a wealth of experience in early childhood education, having taught for 5 years in a private preschool and serving as an Assistant Director for the Primrose School in West Allen, TX. She has a wonderful passion for children and early educational child care which that is reflected in how she leads the school. Monica earned her Bachelors degree in Psychology from the University of South Florida. Having served on the Board of Directors of a private preschool in the Dallas area, Terry began to realize his calling to provide a valuable service that gives back to the community. He left the corporate world and has embarked on a wonderful journey. In addition to his responsibilities as an owner, Terry is an active leader and a volunteer in various youth organizations in the Helotes area. Terry holds an MBA from the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University (SMU).
