As we engage in our summer curriculum, we wanted to send you a sneak peak of what your lovely children engage in on a daily basis. Our daily lessons and Balanced Learning Curriculum consist of our Harmony and Heart Music program, Noggin Joggin which is our Big Ideas and Main themes of the day, Wonder Time 1 which introduces new topics and skills, Children's Choice Learning Centers which are enhanced with different subjects such as Writing, Art, Blocks, Reading, Science and Sensory, Math and Dramatic Play. In the afternoon we dive into a second Wonder Time 2 which alines with our Early Art Masters, Thumbs Up which is our physical development and outdoor play, and then end the day with Wonder Time 3 and Reflections of the day.
For this month the Unit of Learning is: Teddy Bear Picnic: Summer Activities. This week the teachers introduced a few themes: Playing Outside, Water Summer Fun, Sunshine, Beach Fun, A Camping We Will Go.
For our Wonder Time 2: Early Art Masters, teachers introduced the color green, spatter texture, sunshine day, beautiful day dance and a campfire collage.
During our Thumbs Up Lessons, the teachers focused on Cause and Effect, Bottle Bowling, Balls, Bowling, and Bending.
