Schedule A TourHi, my name is Mrs. G. I am the Curriculum Director here at the Primrose School of Shawnee. I am originally from Phoenix, AZ but we moved to Kansas when I was very young. I now live in Edwardsville, KS with my husband, Travis and our three dogs; Camden, Kauffman and Tanner. My mother growing up had her own licensed child care facility and it was her love of children that really fostered a desire in me to teach children. I have taught as a Para Educator, a Nanny and also as an Early Preschool Teacher. I have been with the Primrose Franchise for over 14 years now. I started out as an Early Preschool Teacher and then for the past seven years now, I have worked as a Curriculum Director. I really love it because I am able to be in the classrooms and really get to know the teachers and children and then being up front also helps me to get to know my families. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with family, coloring, watching movies or sports and traveling. My husband and I are huge Royals and Chiefs fans! I can't wait to get to know all of you better!
Hi, my name is Mrs. H. I am married and have two children. I have worked in childcare for over fifteen years and have acquired culinary skills along the way. My hobbies are sewing, crafting, and I also like to create new recipes for my family outside of work. I also enjoy going to the park with my children and attending their after-school activities. I look forward to providing healthy balanced meals for your children here at the Primrose School of Shawnee.
Hi, my name is Ms. B and I am from Olathe, KS. I graduated from the University of Kansas with my Bachelor of Science degree. I love working at Primrose School of Shawnee. I have been here for over two years. I worked in the infant room and I am working up front using my Business Minor. I love spending my free time at the lake with my family and friends. I have two dogs, Bubba and Thad. They make me very happy!

I’d like to tell you about myself, my family and my Primrose Story. Growing up, my parents instilled strong family values in me that I continue to pass on to this day. One of the most rewarding things that I have ever done is raise my children! With my children being older now, I want to get involved in the community and make a difference in the world. I aim to provide the same high standard of care that I expect for my own children. This is what led me to opening the Primrose School of Shawnee. Primrose Schools provides a nurturing environment that feels like an extension of your own family.
Originally from Indiana, I graduated from Northern Illinois University and moved to Kansas. I have franchiser business experience and I have experience running a center and childcare. I understand the daunting challenges of balancing a career and family. At the school, I plan to handle the day-to-day operations, working closely with parents, children and staff. I am married to my awesome husband, Phil. I have three loving and amazing children; Alyssa, Abigail, and Dalton.
