Information Parking Lot Safety

Keeping children safe in the parking lot requires the cooperation of everyone – from school staff to parents to the children themselves.

*Children should be escorted by adults at all times - never leave children unattended in a vehicle or in the parking lot,

*Stop and watch for children - the speed bumps act as a further reminder to drive slowly and safely on school grounds at all times.

*Do not use your cell phone while driving in the parking lot – everyone needs to pay attention.

*Lock vehicles - Do not leave valuables where they can be seen.

*Do not leave your unattended car running in the parking lot. Be aware and be safe. Parking lot incidents happen in a matter of seconds.
