Congratulations to Mrs. Zumi Roberts for being the Apple of our Eye! Thank you for all you do for our children and families on a daily basis!
Ok here we go...We are Brian and Stephanie Lendecky Proud parents to 4 boys and 1 girl, ages ranging from 2-22. Dad is a professor at the University of Texas and claims to teach accounting but yet seems to be way better at playing poker. More people seem to know him in Vegas than UT. Hmmm is that an issue? Mom is a Director with the technology company Gartner and seems to know more about using technology than how to advise clients or employees about it; but apparently that's good enough to at least work with State of Texas clients... Our oldest son Brian just finished college with an accounting degree and is now an auditor for the state and a soon to be first time homeowner. Translation: off the payroll!! Shea is 18 and a senior at Cedar Ridge High School. He is a member of NHS, Varsity Track, and Varsity Football but his real skills are that he can change a diaper in 2.5 seconds. The Air Force has offered him a scholarship to play football post high school and once they learned about his big brother skills, they really, really wanted him. Avery is 14 and a freshman at Cedar Ridge High School. He is on the football and wrestling teams. He says he learned every wresting trick he knows from having 2 big brothers. Carter is 5 and is known as the "informant." Ask him anything. Ask About our family, our house, his siblings, who is in a bad mood, traffic, or the weather, to him there are no secrets. The youngest member, Brooklyn Renee, is 2 and the only girl. If you look up "spoiled baby girl" in the dictionary, it's her picture. Her brothers guarantee she will never, ever go on a date if they have their way. Well that's us-thank you for making us the family of the month although I am sure there were many more deserving groups.
It's a fact: children learn better when they are engaged. That's why purposeful play and nurturing guidance from teachers are key components of Balanced Learning. See how this time-tested approach with a strong emphasis on life skills and character development can help your child develop and excel.
We can't wait to visit with Santa! Remember your cameas to catch this special moment!
