Simon and Kathy Edwards, Mike and Hannah Kim
Meet Simon and Kathy Edwards and Mike and Hannah Kim! They are thrilled to be the proud new franchise owners of Primrose School of Roswell East at Nesbit Ferry. They are excited to bring the Primrose experience of premier early education and care to the families in the Johns Creek, Alpharetta, and Roswell communities.
Hannah serves as the onsite owner working closely with parents, children, and staff. Hannah has lived in the metro Atlanta area for over 30 years, and she looks forward to serving Primrose families. Hannah’s professional background includes real estate sales and corporate accounting. In addition, she has served many years as a children’s ministry volunteer at church, and she will use her background and positive experiences to help create a nurturing and optimal learning environment for students.
Mike has an MBA in finance from Georgia State University and worked for corporate America until 2011 when he started a distribution company specializing in technology devices. Mike is looking forward to sharing his experiences to contribute to the dynamic skillsets from the four-member ownership team.
Business partners Simon and Kathy Edwards have been exceptional Primrose franchise owners. Pior to owning this new Prirmose in Alpharetta, the Edwards were proud owners of Primrose School of Peachtree Corners for more than 21 years. Simon has a master’s degree in social science and a background in education and business administration. Kathy has a degree in business management and finance and has worked in corporations including NBC, Time Inc. and Turner Broadcasting. Together, they have become successful multi-school franchise owners.
We firmly believe in the Primrose core belief that who children become is as important as what they know. Collectively, we are committed to providing the best and most trusted early education and care for children and families.
Located at 9440 Nesbit Ferry Road in Alpharetta, GA, features the exclusive Balanced Learning® curriculum for children ages six weeks to five years old. Developed by and taught exclusively at Primrose schools, the researched-based curriculum blends teacher-guided and child-initiated activities.

Are all staff members background-checked and CPR/first-aid certified?
Yes. Every Primrose staff member undergoes a thorough background check before joining our school. All staff are also CPR and first–aid certified, so you can feel confident your child is in safe, prepared hands every day.
What curriculum or educational philosophy do you follow?
Our school uses the proprietary Primrose Schools Balanced Learning® curriculum, which is research-informed and designed to nurture the whole child — intellectually, socially, emotionally and physically. We believe in balancing teacher-guided learning with purposeful play to build a strong foundation for the future.
How do you support school readiness and the transition to kindergarten?
All of our programs are designed in age-appropriate ways to prepare children for kindergarten and beyond. We focus on early literacy and numeracy as well as social-emotional skill development — so children arrive at kindergarten confident and ready to thrive. 96% of Primrose Schools Pre-K students met ASQ benchmarks for problem solving.*

We are open Monday through Friday from 7:00 am-6:00 pm.
