No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted. - Aesop
Our School Leadership Team, teachers and staff brought this concept to life in a big way by extending National Random Acts of Kindness Day throughout the entire month of March!
For four weeks, we gave back to our community in small but meaningful ways. We donated coins collected by Kindergarteners to Reunion Coffee House, a local non-profit working to break the cycle of poverty through education and relationship-building, delivered art supplies collected by Preschool students to patients at Children’s Hospital Colorado and donated a basket of goodies from the Preschool Pathways students to animals at Adams County Animal Shelter & Adoption Center.
We are deeply thankful for the incredible families, teachers and staff at our school and the kindness they show every day. At Primrose, we believe who children become is as important as what they know and that children are capable of showing kindness at any age, especially when this character trait is nurtured in a purposeful and loving way.
