<p>Meet Julia and David Shelton area residents and Franchise Owners of Primrose School of Preston Hollow. Impressed by the outstanding reputation of Primrose Schools, Julia and David were excited to bring the first metropolitan Dallas location to Preston Hollow. Julia and David are college sweethearts. Following graduation in 2000, they married and made a home in Dallas. Today, they are proud parents of two teenage daughters. The couple is very involved in the community. Julia has served on the boards of the Lake Highlands Junior Women's League, the Junior Group of the Dallas Garden Club, a local chapter of MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers, International), local PTAs and the Notre Dame School. She has also been involved in the National Charity League, Junior League of Dallas, 100 Women of Lake Highlands and the Dallas Symphony Chorus. Julia, David and their children enjoy being active members of Park Cities Baptist Church, where they are involved in the children's ministry and are active in Sunday school. When the opportunity arose for us to be a part of this well-respected company, I knew it was an instant fit, says Julia. We are committed to providing the community with premier early childhood education and passionate about serving the growing families in our Primrose Preston Hollow Community. In 2002, Julia earned a Master's degree from SMU and then pursued her passion for education by becoming a teacher focusing on reading and language curriculums. She worked in both the Dallas and Plano Independent School Districts, and is excited to bring this experience along with her call to serving others to her role in mentoring the teachers, staff, and parents of Primrose Preston Hollow. David, a native Dallasite, is a vice president at the largest retail commercial real estate firm in Texas, a position he will continue to hold while being involved in the operations at the Primrose School of Preston Hollow. David’s oldest real estate client is Primrose Schools and he has helped to place over 20 schools across DFW, the rest of Texas as well as the surrounding states.</p>
