Health & Safety Practices in Place

Requiring any children or staff with respiratory illness symptoms or fever to return home and stay home until fever free for at least 24 hours
Temperature checks for children and staff daily before entering the school
External drop-off and pick-up in the parking lot through a carpool line
Limiting school operating hours (7:30 AM - 5:30 PM) to maintain seperate groups of children throughout the day (through August 2021)
Building "closed" to outside visiitors. Only children, staff, ancillary activity teachers, and essential individuals (i.e. food inspector or licensing inspector) are allowed in the building. Tours for immediate start enrollments are significantly modified, please call the school for the most up to date protocols.
All staff are required to wear a reusable cloth face mask while insode or outside on the playground
Frequent disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch toys and surfaces
Frequent handwashing by children and staff, which is embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols
Limiting use of playground equipment to one classroom at a time and disinfecting playground equipment before and after each use
Training teachers on common signs of illness in children, and placing signage in every classroom to keep signs of illness top of mind
Daily laundering of crib sheets for infants; for older children, individual cots and blankets are provided for each child and laundered weekly
Ensuring appropriate teacher-student classroom ratios
Continuous health & safety training for our staff, including first aid and CPR certification
Maintaining an up-to-date and customized Safe School Plan posted in all classrooms for easy teacher access
