    Team Member Since 2021

I'm Ms. Johnson. I wanted to tell you a little about myself.

My hometown is Houston, Texas. I have over 20 years in the food management industry, and previous Primrose experience from 2015-2017. My inspiration is being able to infuse my passion for cooking and the well being of children in the same place. I would definitely say my father is my hero, as he has always worked with children for as long as I can remember from the time there was the "boys only", now boys and girls club, and then for over 20 years as head superintendent for city parks and recreation when he retired; I literally grew up watching him give service and pour out love to all children. My spare time is usually full of my work in ministry and helping those with spiritual guidance.

What makes me passionate about my work here at Primrose is knowing that I aid in the nutritional value of the children which allows them to stay focused during their education process.

    Kelly and Alan Arbabi

    Franchise Owners

    Dear Primrose Parents,

Our names are Alan and Kelly Arbabi and we, along with Dr. Noel Rigley, are the proud owners of Primrose School of Plano at Deerfield. We are honored to become part of your early childhood education and care experience and look forward to partnering with you in your child’s early learning journey.

    About Us:

First and foremost, we are educators. Throughout our long and distinguished careers in education, we have worked to serve students, assist families, and support teachers. We understand that a child’s development starts with nurturing childcare and a quality early childhood education. This is the basis for a child’s educational journey. We are dedicated to making the education at Primrose of Plano at Deerfield an exceptional experience for your child.

Alan Arbabi first became engaged in early child education when his oldest son was of preschool age. He acquired his first Primrose School in 2002 where he gained over a decade of experience leading the school. Because he has always believed in the benefits of a Primrose education, all four of Alan and Kelly’s children, Alec, Ali, Quinn and Erin, have attended Primrose Schools. Alan has worked in public education for the past 25 years and is completing his sixth and last year as principal of McKinney High School. In addition, he has experience as a middle school principal, an assistant principal, and a music teacher. Dedicated to his own educational growth, he is completing his doctorate in Educational Leadership. He continues to be a proud Eagle Scout and to have served his country in the United States Army Reserves.

Kelly Arbabi's experience in teaching, leadership, and family relationships is the perfect fit for the Primrose Standard of Excellence. While raising their two youngest preschool-aged children, Kelly went back to school to and earned her master’s degree in Marriage, Family and Couples Counseling.  Prior to becoming a therapist, Kelly's passion for teaching and volleyball led her to McKinney Boyd High School as a business teacher and head volleyball coach. Having played collegiate volleyball, she used her skills and experience to develop Boyd’s program into a perennial powerhouse and led the school to multiple district championships and trips to the state tournament. After their youngest child was born, she spent a few years at home devoting her time and energy to her family and the care of their children.

Dr. Noel Rigley is the recipient of the prestigious Primrose Schools Franchising Company’s Rising Star Award and National Platinum Donor Award for 2016, 2017, and 2018. As the owner of Primrose Schools of Frisco West, Klyde Warren Park, Park Cities, Preston Meadow, Prestonwood, Temple, and Waco at Woodway, he is dedicated to the importance of early childhood education and literacy and is in partnership with many local and national non-profit organizations.

Please stop by the office to say hello! We look forward to personally meeting you soon.

    Sincerely,

Alan Arbabi, M. Ed., Kelly Arbabi M. Ed., and Noel Rigley, PhD
