Hi, my name is Michelle McKinney. I am the Director here at the Primrose School of Pickerington. I have earned a Bachelors Degree from The Ohio State University in English Pre-Education. I have worked at Primrose since January of 2010, first as a Pre-Kindergarten Teacher and then as the Director since 2013. I have loved each of these positions within our school, but find my current roll as a Director to be rewarding in that I get the pleasure of getting to know all of our students, and their families too!
My husband and I live in Pickerington and have two beautiful daughters who attend the school as well. Our oldest is in our Explorers Club program for before/after school care and our youngest joined our family in the fall of 2017 and is now in our Preschool classroom. I count it as one of my biggest blessings to be able to share the wonderful staff and curriculum that we offer with them!
Please stop by my desk or send me an email (email@example.com) with any questions, comments, concerns, or feedback that you may have. I'm always available would love to hear from you!
Hi!! My name is Amy and I am proud to be a part of the leadership team here at Primrose School of Pickerington. I graduated with my bachelors degree in early childhood education. I worked in retail management for several years and was previously a Pre-K 2 teacher at the Polaris location, which I found to be very rewarding. I truly love my position at Primrose, as I have the ability to interact with the children in every age group and watch how they grow from year to year.
My husband and I live in the Pickerington area and have a young daughter, who also attends Primrose. We are all huge Cleveland Cavaliers fans and love to take roadtrips to Cleveland to catch a game.
I enjoy getting to know all the families and children at our school. Please stop by the front desk or send me an email (firstname.lastname@example.org) with any questions, comments, concerns, or feedback that you may have. I'm always available and would love to hear from you!
Hello! My name is Liz Love and I am the Education coach. I have been with Primrose since 2014! I am married to a wonderful Police officer and we have two beautiful daughters. I have worked with children for many years in various settings from home care to centers as well as care for my own daughter. I attended Ohio University and obtained an Associates degree in Child Development. I find such joy in watching children grow and develop. Knowing that I played a small part in their development overjoys me! I look forward to working with the wonderful staff and you the parent as we help your child grow! One of my favorite quote’s states “The child is truly a miraculous being, and this should be felt deeply by the educator.”- Maria Montessori. I believe in that statement fully and know that with this belief our school will be full of love, learning, excitement, growth, and happiness!

I'm Judie Brenneman. I am privileged to be a part-time infant teacher at Primrose Pickerington. My informal education comes from having 4 children, 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. I love watching the infants develop their little personalities and enjoy providing them with the nurturing and caring environment that they need to develop into healthy, happy human beings. My formal education is as a retired licensed massage therapist (25 years) and upon retiring returned to Ohio Unversity to complete an associates degree in science started 37 years ago. I look forward to each and every day in my infant room--giving and receiving lots of love!

Hi, my name is Amie Azbell. I am an Early Preschool 2 teacher here at Primrose School of Pickerington. I have an associate’s degree from Ohio University-Lancaster in Child Development, Early childhood education. I have worked in Early childhood education for the the last 20+ years. I worked at Head Start for fifteen years; my age group I worked with there was three to five year olds. I also ran a before and after school childcare program at the West After School Center in Lancaster working with ages five to nine. I had a friend tell me about Primrose School of Pickerington and how awesome it was to work here. I knew it was time for a change, but what a change it has been. I knew from the very day that this was where my new chapter was about to begin. I cannot wait to get to work now because I know when I get here I am greeted by the most wonderful administration I have ever had in all my years of teaching. Parents tell us on a regular basis how grateful they are to us for taking such great care of their babies, that means the world to me to know that we are doing is right! I love Primrose for so many reasons; the staff of amazing dedicated women, parent involvement, and an incredible curriculum geared towards each age group individually, a wonderful clean working environment, and supplies are always abundant. Our administration shows their appreciation for their staff on a daily basis by incentives, generous amounts of praise and genuine caring about each and every staff member. Now I want to talk about our amazing owners, Ashley and Luke are the most caring, generous and hands on people I have ever had the privilege to meet. It is wonderful to see children who have moved on to the next classrooms run down the hall for kisses and hugs from us, or stop into our classroom just to say hi! This job is now my forever home I cannot see myself working anywhere else!!!!

Welcome! We are Ashley and Luke Clemens, the proud owners of the Primrose School of Pickerington. We are both extremely excited to bring such a highly accredited preschool to the Pickerington area. We have seen first hand what the Primrose experience has meant to our nephews and their parents, Amanda and Jerry Webb, owners of the Primrose School of Farragut in Knoxville, TN. Their overwhelmingly positive attitudes helped to spark our excitement and involvement within the Primrose School system. Our Primrose School means so much more to us than just a job. It is a foundation upon which we have put our faith and confidence in to nurture, guide and teach the children of Pickerington, including our own children, Hadley, Knox, and Nash. We are confident in the Balanced Learning curriculum set forth and believe in the positive effect it plays in providing children with a strong foundation and love for learning. We are excited for you to see the Primrose difference. We can't wait to meet you!
