Happy New Year to all Primrose Pearland families! We are the Katsonis Family, dad Panagiotis, mom Dimitra, sister Eleni 5 years old and little brother Konstantinos 2 years old. Our origin is from Greece. We are with Primrose Pearland since we moved to Pearland, in 2016. At that time Eleni was 2 years old. Eleni graduated from Primrose last May to attend kindergarten but she still attends the after school program at Primrose. Eleni’s home language is Greek and she learned English at Primrose.

Meet our Primrose Friend of the Month for January, Billy the duck. His birthday is on January 15th. He teaches about Keeping Promises. Billy loves to quack along to tunes on the radio. He likes to sing requests from the Primrose children and promises to learn a new song every week.

Libby is a lovely lamb who likes to listen carefully to Primrose children. She gives everyone a turn to speak, making sure each person finds a voice. She is calm and thoughtful, making sure to hear other opinions before making a decision. Libby's birthday is on December 15th.

This year, Pearland Neighborhood Center will receive our food donation to help feed the families they serve. Our PPK students will be taking a field trip for our Caring & Giving donation presentation on December 6th at Pearland Neighborhood Center! We encourage your family to help us collect food from friends, family and neighbors in your community and bring them to our school during the month of November. Please have all collected items in by December 4th.
