The Morrisille Chamber of Commerce awarded Primrose School at the Park the James M. Pugh Small Business of the Year Award.

Primrose is an independently operated, education-based private school owned by Leslie Moore. Primrose currently employs 28 employees and offers care for 176 children. In the past five years, the school experienced 30- percent financial growth.

Primrose has practiced community engagement through its Spring Fling event, which raises childhood obesity awareness and money for the Ronald McDonald House, and Reach Out and Read.
