Our teachers and caregivers are trained, ready and excited to help spark lightbulb moments for your child. We invite you to visit and see our Balanced Learning approach in action
Hello, we are Sunita Sanjanwala and Ami Sanjanwala, sisters-in-law and the proud owners of the new Primrose School of Overland Park. Family values have always been a top priority for us, so while we've both enjoyed successful careers in the corporate world, we have always wanted to pursue a business endeavor that would provide us with the flexibility to spend adequate, quality time with our children and the opportunity to give back to our community. Our family first learned of Primrose Schools when Ami sent her oldest son to the Primrose School of Leawood, the only school of its kind in the Kansas City market. She was amazed at the impact that the Balanced Learning¬ curriculum had on her son's intellectual, social and emotional development and that he was reading at just 4-years-old. We love our community because of the quality of our schools and the fact that quality education is always a top priority among area leaders, families and educators. We're committed to upholding the highest standards in early childhood education and helping to lay the foundation necessary to help children succeed in school and in life. We strive to provide the very best education for our own children, and we look forward to providing area families with a quality, educational child care experience that will positively impact their children for years to come!
We aren’t just a daycare in Overland Park, we are a premier early education and child care experience for children and families. We are conveniently located just minutes down the road from Quivira Crossing on W. 135th Street.

Congratulations to the Hagyousif Family for being our Family of the Month for August. Mom, Dad and Amna have been attending our school for over three years! She just graduated from PreK and is going to be attending our Private Kindergarten program this upcoming school year. Together as a family they enjoy going on walks, reading books and playing with blocks. They love to eat delicious meals such as kofta, lamb ribs and peanut butter salad (Salatat Dakwa). Thank you Tawkul and Amin for entrusting Amna with us the past years! We look forward to continuing watching her grow and learn here at our school!
Our Balanced Learning® approach weaves in character development and life skills into daily learning experiences because we believe who children become is as important as what they know.
To better meet the individual needs of every child, we’re proud to implement Ages & Stages Questionnaires® (ASQ®-3 and ASQ®:SE-2) in Primrose schools across the country.
Our new exclusive Harmony & Heart® program integrates our proprietary music and books in a variety of thoughtful ways each day. Through learning about music, while simultaneously being exposed to concepts in math, language, and character development, your child will grow as a musician, a student, and a person.
Please help us congratulate Mr. Luke Zuroske, our August Apple of Our Eye! Mr. Zuroske has worked with our Explorer students for the past three years. His fun-loving, kind-hearted and nurturing demeanor has made such an impact on our Explorers as well as the rest of the school. Mr. "Z" is getting ready to graduate with his B.S. in Education from Emporia State University and is hoping to teach high school math. In his spare time Mr. Z enjoys fishing, films and reading stories. Thank you Mr. Zuroske for all that you do and have done to make our school so successful!
Each Primrose school is held to high standards of safety and cleanliness while maintaining a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.
There’s no question that parents want their preschoolers to grasp the basics of colors, numbers and letters to foster a lifetime of learning.
It might seem odd to think about your preschooler exploring data analysis and algebra.
It's a fact: children learn better when they are engaged. That's why purposeful play and nurturing guidance from teachers are key components of Balanced Learning. See how this time-tested approach with a strong emphasis on life skills and character development can help your child develop and excel.
