Our Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten students usually raise money doing "chores" at home. This money is then given to the students for a field trip to buy cans at a local market and deliver to the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma. This year, due to COVID-19 restrictions, our students and families were asked to donate goods benefitting Palomar, The Dragonfly Home, The Hugs Project, and more! Palomar partners with Oklahoma City community agencies to provide support for victims of domestic violence, assault, trafficking, elder & child abuse, and more. The Dragonfly Home is a human trafficking relief and restoration center that provides services to victims of human trafficking. The Hugs Project sends supplies and care packages to deployed troops in need. We are so excited to have been able to work with such worthy causes! We plan to donate to them and other charities like them in the future.
