We wrapped up the month of October with our 2nd annual Trunk or Treat!! Our children braved the cool weather in their costumes and had a blast seeing all the spooky trunks and collecting some sweet candy!!! Happy Halloween!
In October our children after nap time were amazed to see all the pumpkins that grew after laying down magical pumpkin seeds earlier in the morning! They got to pick their favorite one to take home and tell great tales of the magic that happened during the day!
Children are never too young to learn about the importance of helping others.
We held our annual Culture Day Parade & Feast in September! Each room represented a country and made their own costumes for the parades. Our Primrose Families brought in a tasty dish that represented their very own culture for an after parade fun feast in our decorated classrooms!!
Here is an example of what our morning looks like in our Pre-School (3 year old classroom). During our small group STEAM project time the children were learning about their 5 senses and trying to guess what was in the brown paper bag. At our technology center, the children were practicing their letter recognition on the IPAD & our Art center was busy with free art time/painting!
STEAM-based learning is a hot topic in education – and for good reason! But what is STEAM? It stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math.
