We are very proud to have been the ownership group chosen by KU to bring our preschool to the KU Medical Center campus. Our commitment to provide a safe, nurturing and educational experience is something we strive for every day. The Primrose School at KU Medical Center will be open in the Early spring of 2020.
Each Primrose school is held to high standards of safety and cleanliness while maintaining a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.
Our teachers are amazing! Recently they made Frozen Crockpot Meals for one of our families in our school that has a child battling a serious illness. They used an Assembly line process - They ended up with 23 frozen meals to give the family! Thank you so much for your generosity, we love our teachers!
We learn valuable life skills with our November Theme of Sharing and Giving. A month long program where our children learn to help at home (while earning money), helping others in need - while at the same time learning math and literacy skills. Culminating in our trip to a local grocery store to purchase canned goods for donation at a local food shelter. This year our children donated over 1,000 food items!
From our classrooms to your living room — access Online with Og! Og the bookworm represents caring and literacy, and is the perfect Primrose Friend to bring your child's school experience to your home. Over the next few weeks, we will provide specially designed interactive activities for you and your child as we navigate at-home learning together.
Every year our children have a blast celebrating Thanksgiving with their parents!
We had a wonderful time in November helping to sponsor a child that attends our school at the Step Up Walk for Down Syndrome event at Arrowhead Stadium. Thank you to all our amazing and wonderful teachers that were there in support. We love our Primrose North Olathe Teachers!!
In recent weeks, a new and concerning type of coronavirus — now officially called COVID-19 — has managed to literally and figuratively “go viral.”
Our families had so much fun at our annual Trunk or Treat!
What fun we had seeing our magical pumpkin seeds grow into little pumpkins after nap time!
Building indoor forts is a timeless pastime that is still a popular activity for kids today.
Every day our Preschool and PreK children take part in our Small Group Literacy and Small Group Math activities. Here is an example where in our 3 year old Preschool Classroom, Ms. Burnett is doing a literacy activity working with our children on phonemic awareness.
Congratulations to these teachers for reaching anniversary milestones with us recently! Ms. Schmoker, Ms. Kane, Ms. Parker celebrating 3 years with us and Ms. Galvan celebrating 2 years with us!! Thank you for you loving nature, care and trust that you bring to our families. Looking forward to seeing you reach many more milestones with us!

Pre-K Graduation 2019!
We had such a wonderful time last Friday with all our families during our 3rd annual Spring Fling Carnival! We raised over $4,000 for our charities!
We love craft projects that also double as learning activities for kids.
We are celebrating Earth Day this year by partnering with Hy-Vee on 119th & Ridgeview! Each child in our school decorated 2 paper grocery sacks with either an earth or recycling theme - as part of their project time in the classroom. Hy-Vee will start to distribute these specially-decorated sacks to their customers starting today and thru the weekend!
Happy 3rd Birthday to us!!
