For children, summer is a time for recreation, education and relaxation.
We had such a wonderful time last Friday with all our families during our 3rd annual Spring Fling Carnival! We raised over $4,000 for our charities!
We are celebrating Earth Day this year by partnering with Hy-Vee on 119th & Ridgeview! Each child in our school decorated 2 paper grocery sacks with either an earth or recycling theme - as part of their project time in the classroom. Hy-Vee will start to distribute these specially-decorated sacks to their customers starting today and thru the weekend!
There’s no question that parents want their preschoolers to grasp the basics of colors, numbers and letters to foster a lifetime of learning.
Over the past few weeks one of our themes in our Pre-school and Pre-k classrooms has been about life cycles. Over that time frame we watched the butterfly lifecycle, from the caterpillars beginning to spin their cocoons and than transforming into beautiful butterflies! Today we had fun releasing the butterflies!
Happy 3rd Birthday to us!!
Even when they’re thirsty, kids don’t always ask for a glass of water.
We learn valuable life skills with our November Theme of Sharing and Giving. A month long program where our children learn to help at home (while earning money), helping others in need - while at the same time learning math and literacy skills. Culminating in our trip to a local grocery store to purchase canned goods for donation at a local food shelter. This year our children donated over 1,000 food items!
Every year our children have a blast celebrating Thanksgiving with their parents!
We know there are many benefits of getting outside, breathing fresh air and having the chance to play.
Our families have so much fun at our annual Trunk or Treat!
What fun we had seeing our magical pumpkin seeds grow into little pumpkins after nap time!
Swimming is one of the best forms of exercise — for both children and adults — but many parents often have the same question: “When should my child begin taking swimming lessons?”
Every day we have STEAM project time, on this August day our Pre-K children had fun learning about volcano’s and creating their very own eruption!
Look at what we pulled from our Primrose Patch this summer!
It might seem odd to think about your preschooler exploring data analysis and algebra.
In our Pre-School and Private Pre-K Classrooms every day we so small group literacy and small group math activities every day! We also learn Spanish daily and do fun STEAM activities daily!
We had a wonderful parent appreciation day where we had cupcake truck at our school handing out goodies as they go home!
