    I’m Cassandra Carrasco. I wanted to tell you a little about myself.

    I am one of six kids. I have been married since 2015. I started at Primrose as an intern and fell in love. I accepted a job after graduation. I have taught in multiple classrooms and gained experience in each room, but found my calling in Kindergarten. I love seeing when a child gets a concept and seeing their development throughout the year. I also love the relationships I build with my children.

    My name is Emily Lawless. I graduated from Marcus High School here in Flower Mound in 1998. I then attended Texas Tech University, graduating in 2002 with a degree in Public Relation and Marketing. After graduating, I moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico and worked in Sales and Marketing for 5 years. My daughter Jamison was born in 2007. I was a stay-at-home mother to her for 3 ½ years. During this time I obtained my Instructor Certification, and began teaching Dance Aerobics (JAZZERCISE!!) In 2010 I moved back to Texas and began pursuing a career in Early Childhood Education. I started working for Primrose School of Old Orchard in January 2011 in the Senior Explorers classroom. I then taught 1 year in Pre-K, and 1 year in Kindergarten. In June 2013 I joined the leadership team and love it whole-heartedly! In May 2018, I joined the leadership team at Primrose School of NE Flower Mound. I am responsible for marketing and communications at both campuses. When I’m not at Primrose, I enjoy spending time with my husband Michael, and all of our family! I am passionate about nutrition and love cooking, music, and college football…GO RED RAIDERS!!

Prior to Primrose, I worked at an elementary school for 6 years as a teacher’s aid working with special needs students. I have been here now for 9 years and truly feel Primrose is my second home.

At Primrose I think it’s very important to introduce Spanish at an early age and I think it’s important to do this daily. I like to think of my students as sponges and this is the age where they’re excited to soak up new information. This will help them tremendously when they start elementary school leading into middle school and high school.

    I am currently studying Radiology at El Centro College. Before coming to Primrose, I was a nanny for 2 children. I have been connected to Primrose School of NE Flower Mound for a long time. I attended Pre-K here when I was 4 AND my Mom (Ms. Lie) has worked here for 16 years. I really enjoy working with children because they each have a unique personality and I love getting to know them! I hope to give each student a wonderful experience just like I had. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with friends, reading, and going to the gym. I also speak 3 languages...English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
