Primrose School of NE Flower Mound

The health and safety of our staff and the children entrusted to our care is our top priority. We are proud to maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness while maintaining a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.

Health & Safety Practices in Place

  • Requiring any children or staff with respiratory illness symptoms or fever to return home and stay home until fever free without medication for at least 24 hours.
  • Student / teacher groups remain static throughout the day to the maximum extent possible.
  • Frequent disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch surfaces, toys, equipment, etc.
  • Frequent handwashing by children and staff, which is embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols daily.
  • Training teachers on common signs of illness in children, and placing signage in every classroom as a reminder to teachers. All children who develop signs of illness are immediately removed from the classroom.
  • Daily laundering of crib sheets for infants; for older children, individual cots and blankets are provided for each child and laundered weekly.
  • Continuous health & safety training for our staff, including first aid and CPR certification.
  • Maintaining an up-to-date and customized Safe School Plan posted in all classrooms for easy teacher access.
  • Compliance and communication with Denton County health officials regularly, compliance with all CDC recommended guidelines and protocols for childcare facilities.
  • Compliance with all Childcare Licensing recommendations and protocols in place for schools that have remained open throughout the pandemic.
