Our school is helping to make the holidays bright for children in need in our community. We teamed up with four other Primrose schools in the area to collect gifts for children in need at The Susan Gray School.
Primrose families, teachers, staff and local businesses “adopted” children from the angel trees in our schools. Each gift was based on the child’s age and specific needs. Thanks to the generosity of all who participated, we collected more than 2,000 gifts, enough for the 197 students at The Susan Gray School to receive up to eight gifts each! Our staff hosted a gift-wrapping party to prepare the special gifts and delivered the donations the first week of December.
Giving without expecting is part of who we are at Primrose, and a value we model and nurture every day in our classrooms. We’re so thankful to everyone who took part in the Angel Tree Gift Drive, helping us make a difference for children in need this holiday season.
