The Reed Family- Breun, Ursula and Braxton lives in Mount Juliet, Tennessee. They moved to Mount Juliet from Boston, Massachusetts over 2 years ago; this is when they were first welcomed to Primrose Day School- Mount Juliet.
Breun's passion lies in being an innovator of technology as he is a Software Test Architect. Ursula's experience aligns in a communal development capacity as a Realtor and a School Counselor. Braxton is a vibrant, fun-loving and caring spirit “who does not meet a stranger.”Our family enjoys traveling, attending a plethora of sporting events and exploring various science and historical museums.
Braxton started Primrose in the Toddler program. He has advanced through the years to just recently completing the Preschool program. While transitioning from Boston, Massachusetts where education options are some of the best our country has to offer. It was important for us to find the same level of foundational exposure in education in the Greater Nashville Area. We flew down from Boston to complete a school search for our then 1 year old Braxton. Our family’s educational standards were to find a school based curriculum with highly recommended academic development, social/emotional supports while embracing each child individually. We believe fostering to the whole-child helps creates an individualistic child in society.
Prior to Primrose opening their doors, we spoke with Andrea Turner about the school program. She was very through in providing information about the school’s programming. In addition, she shared her families’ first exposure to Primrose and how it inspired them to become franchisees. Listening to her passion about the school heightened our interest to learn more. On our school search visit to the Greater Nashville area Andrea setup a visit to the Maryland Farms location since Mount Juliet had not yet opened. The tour of this location set a great precedent of what the future held in MJ.
Braxton’s love for learning has blossomed since attending Primrose. He comes home overjoyed to share information about science and social studies activities from details of how to plant, explaining the habitat of animals, conversations about planets and the universe, sharing parts of the map and different modes of transportation. During his matriculation at Primrose, he has held a special bond with Ms. Ashley Dial and Ms. Katy Blanchard.
Primrose has continued to set a great foundation for our child’s learning development to prepare him for his educational journey ahead.
