Schedule A TourMrs. Pariroo is the Director of the Primrose School at Moorefield Station. She graduated from Christopher Newport University with a degree in Psychology. Mrs. Pariroo had several years of experience as a Teacher and Director in the Northern Virginia area, before joining Primrose in July of 2012.
Mrs. Pariroo finds her role at Primrose at Moorefield Station exciting, challenging and rewarding. She does a fantastic job of addressing the families' needs and staffing the school with terrific teachers. She enjoys watching both her sons grow and develop as part of the Primrose Family as well!
Mrs. Pariroo loves the Primrose philosophy and the Balanced Curriculum offered in the classrooms and enjoys sharing this with new families visiting the school. The children and staff are fond of the energy and positivity she brings to the building each day. Mrs. Pariroo enjoys living in this thriving community and appreciates the fact that Primrose values are aligned with the community and provides opportunities for our school to make a difference. She looks forward to seeing the staff and getting her hugs and smiles from the students each day.
Mrs. Jacobs, formerly Ms. Hook, has been working in a licensed childcare facility in the Northern Virginia area since 2012. Before joining the Primrose School at Moorefield Station in November 2018, she was a substitute teacher with the Prince William County Public School system working in the elementary schoools. She worked as a camp counselor every summer at the Freedom Aquatic & Fitness Center from 2012-2018.
After graduating from Franciscan University of Steubenville, Ohio with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology, Mrs. Jacobs began working in a fitness center's daycare and after a year became a Supervisor within the department.
Mrs. Jacobs loves that she found Primrose because it allows her to work in administration but stay within the childcare field because she loves to see the students grow and learn! The babies in the Infant room when she started in 2018 are now in Pre-K and about to go to Kindergarten! Her favorite thing about Primrose is the front office staff because; "we work really well together! It’s an added bonus to work with our amazing teachers and students." When she’s not at Primrose, she enjoys attending country concerts, having monthly game nights with her sisters, hiking & camping with her husband, and relaxing with her two cats!
Mrs. Sasinowski graduated from Liberty University with a Bachelors in History and a Graduate Certificate in Public Policy. She first started at Primrose as an Office Manager in 2014 and has worked as Summer Camp Director, Explorer Teacher, Kindergarten Assistant and a short time as Chef. Between her times here at Primrose, she briefly worked for Liberty University’s Online Academy as a Registrar Counselor, creating education plans and counseling high school students preparing them for college while she finished her degree. She returned to our school in September 2021. Throughout the year you can find her in the classroom coaching our teachers and helping them output the Balanced Learning curriculum in the most proficient way possible.
When she's not at PSMS, she enjoys spending time with her husband, their new baby girl, and their dog Luna. They also enjoy going to the movies and spending time at their family lake house in the Adirondacks.
Ms. Fewell has worked in a licensed childcare facility since 2017 and is excited to grow her experience at PSMS! Completed courses in Early Childhood Education at Rock Ridge High School, and is working towards being a nurse! Ms. Fewell loves spending time with family and friends. Including being outdoors and enjoying nature! Ms. Fewell relates most to our Primrose friend Benjamin the Bear, because "he is all about being outside and enjoying nature as much as I do!” She worked as an Infant Support Staff Teacher before transitioning to Older Infant Lead Teacher! We noticed her love and dedication for our students so we had her lead our Elementary Engagement Program for our Distance Learners from LCPS during the 2020-2021 school year. She continued with them as our Senior Summer Adventure Club Lead.
Chef Mahboubeh been working within the food preparation industry since 2000. She began working within the child care industry in 2011 as a lead teacher and teacher assistant in younger classrooms. She also assisted in the kitchen as needed.
Chef Mahboubeh joined the Primrose School at Moorefield Station in September of 2019. All of the children love when she's in their room because she's always smiling, they LOVE Chef Boubeh, as they call her! When Mahboubeh is not at Primrose she enjoys spending time with her sons and watching their sport games. We're so happy she's a part of our team!
Mrs. Pierson has been a valued lead teacher in our Older Infant Classroom starting with Primrose at Moorefield Station in 2013 and is currently a lead in our youngest Infant One Classroom. Mrs. Pierson has a B.S. Degree in Travel/Tourism and Spanish from Western Michigan University.
Mrs. Pierson has years of experience and knowledge gained through raising her own four children, volunteering in schools, at church, and through Boy/Girl Scouts. She is also the mother of our own Pre-Kindergarten teacher, Ms. C.Pierson.
Mrs. Pierson is the perfect infant teacher, not only does she love the babies , but her attention to detail and important scheduling keep the classroom running smoothly each day. Her personality is also wonderfully suited for a calm, secure, and happy environment for our youngest students. All of our teachers and parents love Mrs. Pierson’s caring smile, and the Infants love it when she sings, blows bubbles and even helps them do art projects!
Mrs. Dehqanzada joined our Primrose in September 2022 as a support staff with our Infants, We quickly realized she was a natural with the babies and asked her to be a co-lead in our Young Infant classroom! She has previous experience working in schools when she lived in Europe. She has a Bachelor's degree in Applied Science and Occupational Health & Safety. Her favorite part about working with children is playing an impactful role in children’s development and to be able to give them the undivided love and to watch how they learn, grow and develop is rewarding. When she's not at Primrose she enjoys spending time with her family! We love having Mrs. Dehqanzada be a part of our Primrose Family, she is always smiling!
Mrs. Barve joined our Primrose in August 2020. She has been working with children in previous daycares since 2016. She has a Master's in Philosophy. Her favorite part of working with children is that she likes to watch them smile and see things from their eyes because it makes her so happy! When she's not at Primrose she enjoys cooking, watching tv, and playing with her son! She has been the lead teacher in our Older Infant classroom since 2021 and the babies absolutely love her!! She enjoys implementing the curriculum and watching them learn everyday!
Mrs. Kovoor joined the Primrose School at Moorefield Station in August 2020. Ms. Kovoor brings a wealth of experience working in child care with toddlers and twos. Here at Primrose you can find Ms. Kovoor in our younger rooms caring for our infants, toddlers and twos. Her sweet demeanor and dedication makes her a value to every classroom she walks into.
Mrs. Thip joined our Primrose in February 2022 from a referral of a current family! She has previous experience in local daycares since 2016. She joined our school as an infant teacher but soon moved over to our Toddler classroom where she is excelling! Her favorite part about working with children is teaching and doing activities for them to learn new things that are necessary for them to succeed in life! When she's not at Primrose she loves spending time her family.
Ms. Garcia joined the Primrose School at Moorefield Station in our first year in September 2012! She is one of our most tenured teachers at Primrose. Ms. Garcia has experience in our Infant, Early Preschool, Preschool Pathways, and has recently switched to Toddler!
Ms. Garcia graduated from Law School in Bolivia, and has worked with children since 2010. Ms. Garcia was an Infant I lead teacher and has a tremendous amount of experience working with infants, toddlers and twos.
Ms. Garica is knowledgeable, keeps the classroom running smoothly, and anticipates the needs of the children in her care. Aside from taking care of our Primrose students' most basic needs, she implements the Primrose curriculum through play and activity assisting the babies as they grow and reach milestones. She shares successes and concerns with parents, and leads the little ones as they listen to stories, explore art and dance to music. Ms. Garcia loves going to concerts and camping on the weekends. She looks forward to working with the students with hugs smiles, and attentive care each day.
Ms. Pyle joined the Primrose School at Moorefield Station in July 2019. Ms. Pyle began her child care career working with children in 2003 as a babysitter. Before joining Primrose she worked in a daycare facility for 10 years. She is currently studying for a degree in Elementary Education!
Ms. Pyle started at Primrose as our Preschool Pathways lead. A year later Ms. Pyle's love for the Primrose Balanced Learning Curriculum was evident and it was clear she was ready to take on a new challenge within Primrose. Ms. Pyle was able to move up with her students and become our Preschool lead working alongside Ms. Melton. After her time with Preschool she has transitioned back to the little ones in Pathways and is loving it!
She enjoys seeing her students smiles every morning and helping them with their creativity while making crafts! When she’s not at Primrose she enjoys spending time with family at their lake house!
Ms. Ryder came to the Primrose School at Moorefield Station as a Support Teacher but we quickly realized she was better utilized as a Lead Teacher. She loved working with our Infant class and takes joy in bringing the Primrose Curriculum to life! When Ms. Ryder is not at Primrose she enjoys spending time with her son, walking her dog at the park and visiting museums. Her favorite children’s book is Where the Wild Things Are, and she loves teaching English because, “I enjoying writing and reading and I hope to Major in English one day!”
Mrs. Perez joined the Primrose School at Moorefield Station in October of 2015. She is a Lead Teacher in our Preschool Pathways room teaching singing and caring for some of our youngest students. Mrs. Perez has been a lead teacher in our Toddler Classroom and Early Preschool Classroom before taking on the role as Lead in our Preschool Pathways Program.
Mrs. Perez is a great asset to our school as she comes with over eight years of experience in preschool childcare. She also holds a degree in Occupational Studies from Briarcliff College. Mrs. Perez is from Glen Clove, NY and is a Yankees fan. She loves to explore museums and historic sites with her family when she is not teaching. Mrs. Perez looks forward to helping her students with transitions and adjusting socially as well as academically.
Mrs. Bhumi joined our Primrose in October 2021, she joined as a Classroom Support teacher but we quickly realized she is better utilized as a Lead! She has experience working with our Infants, Toddlers, and Preschoolers! She is currently the co-lead for our Pathways 2 classroom. Ms. Bhumi is ready for any challenge we throw at her and she is always surpassing our expectations! When she's not at Primrose she enjoys yoga, biking, walking, watching movies, and spending time with her kids.
Ms. Melton is our very first teacher at the Primrose School at Moorefield Station! She has worked for Primrose previously in Richmond and was excited to open our Primrose School at Moorefield Station in 2012, after having working in other child care facilities in the Northern Virginia area. She started with our school in January 2012, a month before we opened our doors. Ms. Melton was essential to our school opening and getting set up.
Through her years at Primrose, Ms. Melton worked in almost all the rooms and is now a lead teacher in our Preschool Classroom. One of her strengths in the classroom is her classroom management style. She takes the time to set up expectations with the students and helps them follow the procedures of the classroom with patience and repetition. The students learn many skills they will need before going to Pre-Kindergarten. Ms. Melton is excited to bring the Primrose curriculum to life. She looks forward to watching her students experience new things and get excited about learning.
When she isn't at Primrose, Ms. Melton enjoys spending time with her family.
Ms. Vargas started at the Primrose School at Moorefield Station in February 2017 as a Support Staff Teacher then quickly became an Infant Lead Teacher! She then moved up to Preschool Pathways as a Lead Teacher and is now one of our Preschool Leads! She has been working with children since 2011. Ms. Vargas assisted in a preschool classroom setting for two years and has worked as a nanny and tutor for three years. Along with her Primrose training, she has taken early childhood courses as well. Ms. Vargas is currently enrolled at Northern Virginia Community College working toward her associate's degree. Her favorite subjects to teach are Math and Art. Ms. Vargas is always seen having fun doing art and learning activities with her Preschool class! Ms. Vargas was born in England and her extended family resides in Ireland. She loves to spend time on the weekends with friends and watching movies.
Ms. Nahadi joined our Primrose in March 2021 as a Classroom Support Teacher. She started in our Pre-K program a an assistant before she transitioned to a Preschool lead teacher! Ms. Nahadi has a passion for teaching it shows through her love of her students! She enjoys teaching and being able to help the kids learn new things every day! When she's not at Primrose she enjoys reading books, going for walks, watching movies with her mom, taking care of plants, and playing with her pet Milo. She most relates to our Primrose Character Og becasue she is kind and compassionate!
Ms. Swanson started at the Primrose School at Moorefield Station in August 2015. She came to us bringing five years of experience with children aging from infant to second grade. Ms. Swanson has a B.A. in Psychology and a B.A. in Human Development and Family Studies with a concentration in Early Childhood Education.
Over the years at Primrose, Ms. Swanson held many roles. She was a lead Infant teacher, Lead Early Preschool teacher, Lead Preschool teacher, and is now a lead teacher in our Pre-K classroom! Wow! Ms. Swanson brings a lot to the Primrose experience with her wealth of knowledge of all ages and experience with the Primrose Balanced Curriculum.
When not teaching and caring for her students at Primrose, she enjoys reading, spending time with family, especially her son who currently attends Primrose! Ms. Swanson loves seeing her students’ budding sense of humor emerging as they tackle and accomplish new tasks each day.
Mrs. Burns started her child care career teaching swim lessons. She then moved to an assistant Pre-Kindergarten Teacher at a school near her college and was promoted to a Lead Pre-Kindergarten Teacher. After moving to Ashburn, VA in 2018 she began working at the Primrose School at Moorefield Station as a Lead Preschool Teacher then took on the roles of Explorers Teacher, Summer Camp Director, Office Manager and now our Pre-K 2 Lead Teacher!
Mrs. Burns is currently working on her Bachelor's Degree. Mrs. Burns loves teaching Language and Literacy! “I love watching children come up with words that start with certain letters we are learning. I also love their excitement when they learn to write their name!” When she isn't at school teaching, she loves to enjoy the outdoors with her husband and dog!
Ms. Gills joined our Primrose in September 2022 as our Pre-Kindergarten 2 lead teacher! She recieved a degree from Radford University in Biology and Geospatial Science and is pursuing a Master's degree with Virginia Tech. Ms. Gills' has previous experience as a nanny before starting with us! Her favorite part about working with children is the time she gets to spend being a positive influence in their lives. She loves learning from them, they have such a big imagination and a lot of curiosity! When she's not at Primrose she enjoys hiking in the mountains with her puppy Sasha and exploring her new home here in Northern Virginia with friends!
Ms. Brown joined the Primrose School at Moorefield Station in August 2016. She is our wonderful Kindergarten Lead Teacher! Ms. Brown is originally from Indiana and holds an Elementary Education Degree from Purdue University and her Virginia State Collegiate Professional Teaching License.
Ms. Brown has been teaching in a professional setting since 2009 and her experience spans multiple elementary grade levels, as well as, over five years as a Full Day Kindergarten Teacher with Loudoun County Public Schools. Ms. Brown also served LCPS on Leadership Teams, the Science Team, the Math Team, and was a Grade Level Team Leader. Ms. Brown has excellent communication skills, a warm smile, and particularly fond of teaching science. Ms. Brown has an enthusiastic love of interactive teaching methods that involve lively student classroom participation.
Mrs. Nabi joined the Primrose School at Moorefield Station in February of 2016 as one of our Early Preschool support staff teachers. During her time at Primrose, Mrs. Nabi has worked in all our classrooms including our kitchen, and has become a valuable teacher. Mrs. Nabi has taken on many roles including Lead Teacher in our Early Preschool classroom and Lead Teacher in our Pathways program. Now she is our Kindergarten Support Teacher!
Mrs. Nabi is an experienced mother and has been working with children in a professional setting since 2011! Mrs. Nabi moved from her home country of Afghanistan in 2010. She loves working with some of our smallest children and enjoys helping them to learn and grow in such a positive environment. Her bubbly engaging personality and friendly smile brighten everyone's day. Mrs. Nabi shares her love of music and reading with her new Primrose friends, and has a sweet, confident personality that puts students at ease.
Mrs. Go has worked as a Lead Teacher for 4 years at the Northern Virginia Academy in Ashburn. She also has experience in a home daycare for 3 years. Mrs. Go has her Bachelors of English Literature from the Ethiraj College for Women in India. Mrs. Go currently helps out in our Preschool, Pre-K and Kindergarten classrooms. When she isn't at Primrose, Mrs. Go spends her free time shopping and cooking delicious foods. Mrs. Go loves to take her children to various classes to learn new crafts! The Primrose Character Mrs. Go relates most to is Erwin the Dog because she loves coloring, painting, drawing and do all sorts of art. Mrs. Go joined our Primrose in October 2018, briefly worked for LCPS, then returned to our school in August 2022! We're so happy to have her back with us!
Ms. Tate has been working in a licensed childcare facility since 2012. She has experience working with all ages, including school age. Ms. Tate joined the Primrose School at Moorefield Station January 2019 as an Infant Lead Teacher. After 2 years, she moved to our Toddler program which allowed her to challenge herself! She went back to the Infant classroom to help our youngest students grow for a year and is now one of our part-time Support Teachers that helps in every classroom!
Ms. Tate's favorite children’s books are the Pete the Cat series! And the Primrose character she most relates to is Og! “Because I love to read and reading books to my little students!” Ms. Tate enjoys spending time with her son taking him to new places and on new adventures!
Ms. Springer began working with children in 2016 as a babysitter and summer camp daycare worker. She is currently studying Architecture at Virginia Tech and working at PSMS during her summers and school breaks! Her favorite part about working with children is being able to see their skills develop. When she’s not at PSMS, she enjoys hanging out with friends, running, and shopping! Ms. Springer’s favorite children’s book is, Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus! by Mo Willems. We’re so lucky to have her on our team working with our younger classrooms, especially the Toddlers!
The Primrose School at Moorefield Station (PSMS) opened on February 20, 2012. Mike and Kim Hummer are co-owners of the PSMS and manage the School on a full time basis. We bring extensive business and community involvement background (45 years) to this opportunity. Our vision, the vision of Primrose, and that of The Primrose School of Moorefield Station, is to deliver the best and most trusted early childhood education and child care for families across America.
