Primrose School would love to meet your family.
Contact UsIt has long been a dream of mine to make a difference in the lives of children. With encouragement, help and support of my husband Dan, we opened the Primrose School of Minnetonka in the Fall of 2014. We are the proud parents of two teenage children, Sam and Erin. It seems like only yesterday that our family passed through the pre-school years. Time flies by when raising children! Our new school is the first Primrose School in the Minnetonka area. It is a privilege to provide our community with a superior school and childcare that helps fulfill the needs of young families in our area. My heart identifies with the emotions you are feeling when seeking out the perfect school for your child. With a strong passion for family and education, we are committed to creating a family atmosphere in our school and partnering with our parents. It is our goal to deliver the Primrose accredited Balanced Learning Curriculum, and help children grow educationally, emotionally and socially to achieve Active Minds, Healthy Bodies and Happy Hearts. We look forward to meeting you and welcoming you to the Primrose family! Cathy Keefe
Our Balanced Learning approach to child care makes us different than an ordinary Minnetonka daycare. Right down the road from 7-HI Shopping Center and Deephaven Elementary School, we are conveniently located on Minnesota MN-7.
Infant, Toddler, Early preschool, Preschool, Pre-kindergarten
At Primrose, your child will get more than an infant daycare experience. Our teachers help your child develop and grow, building one skill upon another, which is why we are the leader in infant child care.
Primrose School of Minnetonka is located 1 block West of the intersection of Hwy 101 & Hwy 7. We serve families from the Lake Minnetonka area and surrounding communities including Deephaven, Excelsior, Shorewood, Greenwood, Woodland, Wayzata, Plymouth, Long Lake, Orono, Tonka Bay, Hopkins, Minnetrista, St. Bonifacius, Spring Park, Mound, Waconia, Victoria, Chanhassen, Eden Prairie and Minnetonka.
Fostering a sense of belongingness has been a part of every day at Primrose for the past 40 years, and we’re excited to invite all families, from Primrose and beyond, to join in as we celebrate the annual National Day of Belongingness on September 29.
Try these easy at-home activities to promote character and social growth that will help children celebrate their similarities and differences, and help create connections with others.
To better meet the individual needs of every child, we’re proud to implement Ages & Stages Questionnaires® (ASQ®-3 and ASQ®:SE-2) in Primrose schools across the country.
Each Primrose school is held to high standards of safety and cleanliness while maintaining a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.
There’s no question that parents want their preschoolers to grasp the basics of colors, numbers and letters to foster a lifetime of learning.
It might seem odd to think about your preschooler exploring data analysis and algebra.
It's a fact: children learn better when they are engaged. That's why purposeful play and nurturing guidance from teachers are key components of Balanced Learning. See how this time-tested approach with a strong emphasis on life skills and character development can help your child develop and excel.
