Primrose School of Midlothian at Waterford

Stephen and I moved to Richmond from London over 20 years ago.We have three children: Michael, a graduate of the University of Virginia, and Alexandra and Joshua, both students at Georgetown University. I lived in Spain, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom for fourteen years and held various senior leadership positions with General Electrics in Europe. Although I valued my career, I could not find balance between work commitments and family. While living in London we met a Primrose parent and I found my calling! I am thrilled to be the owner of these highly accredited full day preschools and I know how lucky I am to have such dedicated, talented, and qualified teachers on the team.

About the COO, Elizabeth Weddle:

I am even luckier to have Virginia’s finest Preschool COO, Mrs. Elizabeth Weddle! Elizabeth graduated from James Madison University with a BA in English and Early Childhood Education and received her Master’s Degree in Literacy, Training, and Curriculum from the University of Missouri. Prior to becoming the COO, Elizabeth served as our Area Director for our two schools and taught kindergarten and first grade for ten years. Elizabeth now oversees operations at both of our schools. She and her husband, David, are the proud parents of Jackson, a student at Auburn University, Preston, a ninth grader, and Hannah a fifth grader.  All three of her children are Primrose graduates so she has seen the benefits of our program from both managerial and parental sides.
