Information Dr. Seuss' Birthday!

In 1997, the National Education Association established Read Across America Day as an annual reading motivation and awareness program. The day falls on Dr. Seuss’ birthday and calls for every child to celebrate reading. Primrose Schools literacy goals align with Read Across America Day, and it’s our hope that this day will encourage parents to establish a regular reading routine with children and help our community recognize the power of literacy.

We celebrated Read Across America Day by inviting grandparents in to enjoy reading stories to children and listening to a story time with Cat in the Hat!
