Information Saying ‘Thank You’ to Local Heroes

In honor of Law Enforcement Appreciation Day, our Pre-K and Kindergarten students sent handmade cards, posters and cookies to our community heroes at the Hoover Police Department. Before the delivery, we discussed the important role police officers play in keeping our community safe.

We enjoyed showing our local heroes how much we appreciate their service! This act of kindness is just one example of how we nurture character traits like gratitude and generosity in our classrooms every day.
