Our team at Primrose School of Meadowbrook has always been dedicated to supporting every aspect of your child’s development, which includes nurturing Healthy Bodies, as well as Active Minds and Happy Hearts. Our menus meet and exceed the USDA’s recommendations (www.ChooseMyPlate.gov) for school meal programs. Our menus focus on nutrient-dense foods such as lean proteins, whole grains, and fresh fruits and vegetables. Our menus also contain no trans-fats and will limit foods with added sugars and high sodium content. As always, our goal is to serve the most nutritious and flavorful foods so your child can grow up healthy and strong.
Our Primrose students also participate in daily physical activity in our Thumbs Up! physical fitness program. Together, proper nutrition and exercise helps set the stage for lifelong healthy habits.
